Tiptoed around each other for a while, but it was obvious from day one where this was going, there was this showdown/confrontation, they kissed, made love and Kitty phased through the floor during said lovemaking session.

Emma's Nova-induced insanity kicked in the following morning and she betrayed the team by messing with their minds, which resulted in Kitty telling Pete she "needed time". Time which they don't really have since they're on some semi-suicide mission - in space - to save the Earth.

Just, what, do you want a play-by-play of their *courtship* or...? t:

I hope they don't retcon him. This is one of the few "GAY CHARACTERS" I think they've handled pretty well.
