Comics The Official COLOSSUS Discussion Thread

At first I thought I was looking at a green dress/white boobs, then I realized it was Shulkie....:o

Soon! CoD4, Mass Effect, and Assassin's Creed FTW
Assassin's Creed sucked. Mass Effect, on the other hand, is absolutely godly.

And your avatar is ridiculous. And ridiculously awesome. For shame, Spoons. For shame.

Collosus looks pretty scrawny in his metal form there

Well, I was on the fence about picking this up, but now I will be.

I should have known better. I <3 Yost.

so..um..did Colossus's origin call for further exploration? I thought it was always pretty cut and paste

The one-shot doesn't look to be retconning anything and I don't recall us ever seeing his first transformation. The art certainly looks great and it seems to be pretty good in the writing department as well. Not the biggest Piotr fan, so I won't pick it up, but it looks good.

Yeah, Colossus' origin is pretty cut and dry, but this was a very good story that adds a bit of nice character development to Pete (especially to remind those who've not followed him from the beginning like me). Not being a mysterious anti-hero really hurts a character unfortunately. If my calculations are correct his first transformation occured when he was around 11 or 12, because he was only 17 when he joined the X-men. I loved when he smashed the helicopter, we need more Colossus moments like that.
