sam has stayed very close to the comics, spiderman3 could be the last movie, its the right time for aunt may to die and because this movie is much darker than the others.

You can have a darker film without killing off a major character. Not saying "don't kill Aunt May", I'm just putting it out there.

Anyways...Rosemary Harris is great and I love Aunt May. The more I think about it the more I realize this movie would be a good time for her to die peacefully. She is lonely and misses her husband. I am sure a lot of story arcs will be completed in SM3.

At first I thought it'd work. But considering we have SANDMAN, GG2 (whose fate we all know), AND VENOM.....not to mention Peter's inner struggles and his struggles with MJ (which Gwen will play some role, hopefully small, in)....we just have enough plot to cover then.
