Catch up Brodie

Advanced Dark said:This just adds to the excitement. It's also a great marketing move. The trailer is available to see...go buy a ticket to Night at the Museum. Very smart. It also keeps the talk and speculation online at a high level. Then they release the trailer, then the posters, etc...
Damn right, and I happen to be in both categories BTW.broadcloak said:Yeah, great move, in theory.
Except that a very large part of the world's population:
A: Don't live in America, where the same trailers get attached to the same films. (I'm in Ireland, so it'll be months before this gets shown in theatres over here, and there's no way of knowing what film it'll be attached to)
B: Don't necessarily want to go and see Night At The Museum.

Even that way I ain´t getting it, I don´t live in US, Night At The Museum hasn´t opened here yet, it could take months, and even if it does the teaser won´t be necessarily attached to the same movies as in US.Darren Daring said:Maybe the trailer will persuade you to see the movie.. Cause you sure as **** ain't getting it any other way.

I won´t even dignify that with an aswer. You´re obvious ignore list material.Darren Daring said:As a foreigner, you're clearly a backwards and foolish person. As such, you dont' deserve the trailer until later. It's not that big a deal anyway, you just have to wait a bunch longer.

hunter rider said:He's just Brodie being Brodie,if he isn't trying to be offensive to get a war of insults going then his purpose is lost, right Brodie ?
Rather than doing it as a genuine dick it's his gimmick
Darren Daring said:It's not that big a deal. This seems very little like an FF move
Darren Daring said:it's not a "gimmick". It was a joke. I find your assumptions of me being some kind of rabble rouser offensive. If anything, I was supporting Ultimatefan by pointing out the remarkebly foolish thinking that Fox must be experiencing in relation to the foreign market.
The movie is released in, what, 6 months? Clearly Fox thinks the public can wait a few weeks to discover FF2 if it'll give Night at the Musuem a boost. It's not like they're never going to put the thing online.AssMan said:Which is another reason why this should have also been on the web at the same time. The web = MORE PEOPLE CAN SEE THE TEASER & maybe get a few people who has never heard of the Fantastic Four or never saw the first movie interested. Forcing them to see Night At The Museum wont do that
