Ok, the filming is coming to and end, and we are already on December, so... the teaser is coming, guys!

In the short wait, I create this thread to post what can we expect from the teaser, and what would we like.

Let the countdown begin! :woot:

I just hope we get a hint at the main plot and a sense of the style of the film. Because so far I really don't have a clue as to either yet I'm very curious.

I would like it to be short but intriguing and impressive at the same time, without many spoilers or info about the full plot.

Of course a hint about the main characters, but I wouldnt mind to not seeing the look of Beast and Mystique, to keep some mystery for the next months.

I want them to create real interest on the general audience, to let them wanting to see more.

No comic book movie has had as much secrecy as this movie, not even the previpus x-men films.

So that being said, there is alot of pressure for this movie to be good, if all this secrecy leads to a chunk of crap iam gonna be pissed.

they have learned from XO: Wolverine mistakes, I suppose.

We still don't have a teaser poster, if I'm not mistaken, right?

I hope we get a teaser/announcement trailer soon (my guess is late January/early February)....but we should be getting a poster by year's end.

Im sure this month we'll get the teasers from Thor, Captain America, First Class and Transformers (already confirmed).

Yeah, usually secrecy has no effect on me, but for a tentpole film like this it's become a worry. I've got this sinking feeling it will be more drama than it is an action-adventure. Which isn't wrong in the least, but also not my ideal cinematic approach to a franchise that's chock full of kinetic intrigue.

Id love more drama than action.

Great drama with a few but Amazing action scenes.

perfect for me.

I do wonder what action there will be. The major characters aren't the most action-oriented.

I think the characters with bigger action will be Magneto, Havok, Banshe, and at the end, Mystique and Beast.

The teaser will likely be just a quick bunches of shots to get us excited like the teasers
for X-Men and X2.I certainly hope they look at the X2 marketing to promate First Class.
X2 had some of the best trailers I saw for a summer film. From the first comic Con preview they had you hooked and ready for the film.

A teaser with Narnia made the most sense, but if that were the case we certainly would have heard something by now.

Maybe January. Who knows.

Beast will probably have some pre-Blue action earlier in the film with him hopping around and beating up guys.

I wonder if there will be any teamwork in this film.

I wouldn't mind hearing Professor X's "Mutation" quote from X1 (I wish I could remember it, I'll try looking it up) opening the trailer...it would be a good hint without saying X-Men...

...I really want to see Havok (my favorite X-Man) and Angel.

Mutation, it is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single celled organism, to the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But, ever few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.

/from memory

not neccesary.. not all the studios announce when theyll show a trailer a month earlier.

Fox has a plan, a probably they already have the trailer attached to a movie.

we'll know it soon. :cwink:

...:hrt::up:...Urgh! I hate myself for not remembering!

A short teaser trailer would be nice as now is a perfect time to get the word out in this busy holiday movie season. If not a trailer i do think though that Fox will have released some pics and maybe a teaser poster.

Speaking of marketing...a company called Outpost 31 Media are part of the team working on content for a promotional campaign.

Writer BRIAN DIMUCCIO was born in San Francisco, California. As a student at Loyola Marymount University's School of Film & Television, DIMUCCIO wrote and directed the short BENEATH VINCENT, which became a favorite on the international film festival circuit and won a Samuel Z. Arkoff Award. This led to DIMUCCIO being hired as an assistant by former Arkoff collaborator, B-movie mogul Roger Corman. In 1995, DIMUCCIO and former LMU classmate DINO VINDENI began a screenwriting partnership which would lead to a string of horror and sci-fi genre films including VOODOO, THE DEMOLITIONIST, MOONBASE, and LITTLE WITCHES. In 2002, DIMUCCIO & VINDENI founded Outpost 31 Media in Hollywood, California. The company has provided creative content for studio marketing campaigns on films such as ICE AGE 3, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2, HITMAN, X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, THE WOLFMAN, PREDATORS, THE A-TEAM, THE TOWN, RISE OF THE APES, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, MEGAMIND, and AVATAR. In 2008, DIMUCCIO co-created the internet based movie industry video blog SCRIPTGIRL, which has amassed over ten million views and spawned ScriptGirl's Questionable Advice column in Script Magazine. Mutual admiration and respect brought DIMUCCIO, VINDENI and HART together. United they bring depth, whit and passion to SWEAT EQUITY and help redefine production on all levels. DIMUCCIO resides in Santa Monica, California.

It would so cool if it started with Patrick Stewart narrarating and while he is narrarating we see some brief upclose shots of the characters in the movie. Then a brief pause And then like a whole bunch of shots of some crazy action and then the Logo.

It would be cool if they started with Patrick Stewart narrating and then transitioned the voice to turn into McAvoy's and show a shot of McAvoy. I think that would be a nice way to get the message across.

Showing Magneto using powers

Xavier
He became angry and vengefull

Showing Magneto using powers against others.

Then a quick shot of other characters.Emma Frost.Sebsastan Shaw.Beast.
and finally briefly Mystique.
