Writer BRIAN DIMUCCIO was born in San Francisco, California. As a student at Loyola Marymount University's School of Film & Television, DIMUCCIO wrote and directed the short BENEATH VINCENT, which became a favorite on the international film festival circuit and won a Samuel Z. Arkoff Award. This led to DIMUCCIO being hired as an assistant by former Arkoff collaborator, B-movie mogul Roger Corman. In 1995, DIMUCCIO and former LMU classmate DINO VINDENI began a screenwriting partnership which would lead to a string of horror and sci-fi genre films including VOODOO, THE DEMOLITIONIST, MOONBASE, and LITTLE WITCHES. In 2002, DIMUCCIO & VINDENI founded Outpost 31 Media in Hollywood, California. The company has provided creative content for studio marketing campaigns on films such as ICE AGE 3, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM 2, HITMAN, X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, THE WOLFMAN, PREDATORS, THE A-TEAM, THE TOWN, RISE OF THE APES, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, MEGAMIND, and AVATAR. In 2008, DIMUCCIO co-created the internet based movie industry video blog SCRIPTGIRL, which has amassed over ten million views and spawned ScriptGirl's Questionable Advice column in Script Magazine. Mutual admiration and respect brought DIMUCCIO, VINDENI and HART together. United they bring depth, whit and passion to SWEAT EQUITY and help redefine production on all levels. DIMUCCIO resides in Santa Monica, California.
