I agree with AznBABYBANDIT, but it was to be expected with Wolverine. He's always been the most popular character. It started to annoy me in the Comic books, that he was ALWAYS a part of every story, even when it served no purpose for him to be there.
But Storm, although a popular character, isn't THE most popular female character.

ahem, Storm, as far as i'm concerned, is the most popular and loved female character of all time in the X-men. Ask anyone and they will know who Storm is, and most will say they love her power. Sure, Jean and the Phoenix are famous, but most in USA. In the world, again, as far as im concerned, not everybody likes Jean or even knows her, despite the Phoenix. (im talking about general audience, common people, not fans) Same with Rogue, she's popular, but doesnt reach Storm's feet in popularity. I think i'ts only fair to have Storm as the leading female role, although i actually prefer Rogue and loved the Jean in X2 and X3.

sure. X3 was Jean's story. But i have yet to see any movie focused on Storm, sorry, i didnt see the focus on her in X3. She is there, but she does nothing, she has no relevance at all. That is all i want to see from Storm: relevance (well, her powers display are also the most beautiful of the movies, so i guess lots of powers display wont hurt too)

Storm isnt ment to have her own movie. Shes ment to just be there and fight. Same for wolverine. This movie should have been just one Jean because she has a goodstory line with the phoenix even though ratner screwed that up.

so im curious..now that the dvd is out, is anyone here doing there own re-editing of the film? I still have a couple of days to finish it because its hard to blend the original scenes into some deleted scenes (the music is different)

Yea, im re editing the movie aswell. What software are you using? Im using premiere

One of the big problems with X3 was FOX was more focused on whos more popular (in order to decide who gets decent screen time) then care about theactual story

It'll be easier this way. I have loads of ideas which scenes should stay and which scenes should go. can I be in charge of that? Also we can re-arrange and switch scenes... I'm watching X1.

not bad. However a few things:

-When you put new scenes in, it's important to have the music match otherwise it throws off the whole scene.

-I suggest not using a lot of the extended fight scene since it takes the focus off of the xavier v. jean fight. Also the voices was to loud and overpowerd the scene so I suggest use tidbits of it ( I love how you made the echo effect on it).

Make sure the audio is in synch with the video. That happens a lot when u upload a movie. Edit that before the movie.
