The final few issues were quite good. Bart fought his GF's dad and then the rogues. I wonder if they will address Valerie now that Bart is back, and ya' know, he banged a chick Tom Hanks style and now he ain't big no mo'.

They'll probably just let it be forgotten. That's kind of weird. Although, really, Bart's like 16 or 17 at his natural age anyway and the chick is, what, 25 at most? That's not too bad.

Yeah, I really liked Guggenheim and Daniels' run on Flash. I do hope that Valerie will at least be addressed to bring some closure to that.

I agree. There's nothing wrong with Bart. The Fastest Man Alive series just sucked giant ass. I read the first couple issues with an open mind, trying to put Wally's abrupt and unexplained departure aside (which was strike 1 against Bart's tenure, in my opinion--you gotta have closure for the last guy before you bring in the new one). The simple fact is that the writers had no idea what they were doing and Ken Lashley is a somewhat dodgy artist.
thats being generous... if i remember correctly, i compared his art to the art you find in kids meal comics at pizza hut... utter crap

then they need to purge the characters that no one cares about... then add ones that people do

Asides from Bombshell, the current Teen Titans line-up is pretty good and filled with characters people tend to care about with Wonder Girl, Aquagirl, Blue Beetle, and Static. Frankly all the book needs to do IMO when it comes to the roster is get rid of Bombshell and Kid Eternity and replace them with Kid Flash, Speedy, and Superboy. Bring Tim back into the fold once he's settled into his post-Battle for the Cowl status quo.

For those looking forward to what's coming up for TT after McKeever, I wouldn't get too much hopes too up. It sounds, from some rumors going 'round, that there is going to be rotating writers for a while.

I would also like to see the whole Valerie issue resolved. I doubt she's even as old as 25; I think she was just an intern. Superboy dated an even older woman, back in the day. Of course, DC has that annoying and self-destructive tendency to just ignore important continuity and significant character points that they simply find too troublesome to deal with.

It's an annoying and self-destructive post-Infinite Crisis tendency, too, which makes it even worse because I can still remember those halcyon days when we could simply assume that major elements of character arcs like that would be referenced and worked out eventually.

Lets just hope that when Flash: Rebirth is finished, Barry is once again dead and Wally is once again the Flash. I like the idea someone had about Barry being the Black Flash now. I don't know how it would be done, but I wouldn't mind seeing Wally put in a position were he has to stop Barry Allen. Imagine Wally walking around, wondering what to do with his life now, with Barry back as The Flash, everyone loving the fact that Barry is back. And again, I don't know how it would be done exactly, but Wally is put in a position were he must stop Barry. Wally West defeating Barry Allen and once again becoming Th Flash would be the definitive moment in Wally's life.

I just bought Flash: Rebirth
The pacing was on the slow side, but they need to stuff in things for new readers (like me) AND set up the plot at the same time, so i'm not complaining about that.
I'm gonna continue to get the miniseires because the "dead flash body" has me intruiged.
And i also wanna find out what the **** happaned at the end And who was that at the begining.

Even though I prefer Wally being the Flash, I'm willing to give Barry a chance considering how Johns has handled Hal's return.

You know it's bad when at the end of the issue I say "God, why can't Barry be more fun...like Hal".

Hahaha. Yeah, even though Johns has completely rewritten Hal's origin, at least his character is somewhat fleshed out, that is compared to the 2D Barry Allen. No grey area my ass.

I get that he wants to protect everybody all the time and be the shining example of a hero but we already have one of those. His name is Superman. At least take a day and go to your own Welcome Back parties

I don't see it that way. I think Johns is making Barry become almost as obsesed with justice as Batman, because his father killed his mother.
Which is a big mischarachterazation. But Hal was acting surprsed so i assume Johns is not making it that Barry was always like that. Maybe being in the speed-force changed him?

With Batman, he could go out and apprehend criminals because one slew his parents. What's Barry gonna do, go around killing fathers? lol

It may be silly, but i'm prdicting Barry isn't in his right mind....

It may actually be Black Flash who thinks he's Barry and the "Black Flash" was really barry from crisis.........no, thats even more silly. But it would explain why Olly saw Barry in heaven.
