I never did any such thing. I always knew he was boring and dull. He's Hal with a red suit.

Is it a retcon or is it a altering of the timeline because of SBPrimes punch???

Both on account that Superboy Prime's punch occurred shortly after Jason was buried therefore invalidating Ollie seeing him in heaven because there is no way Ollie could have seen him in heaven because he wasn't there.

EDIT: Actually now that I think about it, the punch that revived Jason Todd wasn't really an altering of the timeline like the punches did to Donna Troy, the Doom Patrol, and Hawkman, it just simply revived Jason.

Although by reviving Jason, it did end up altering the timeline because Ollie saw Jason in Heaven, except now he couldn't have because Jason was pretty much alive the entire freaking time....

God damn this ****'s confusing :cmad:

How did you come to the conclusion that Superboys punch occurred shortly after Jason was buried???

The punch could have been rendered years afterward and the effects could have traveled threw the time stream.

It still could have been the same kind of altering effect.

Or, and this makes far more sense, that's the way the timeline ended up after the machine was destroyed. You see, when infinite Crisis ended, the Earth that DC was left with had changed. Supes was suddenly all silver age and had the Legion in his back ground. Hal got a whole new origin. Batman had a kid. All this is the result of a whole new Earth. So the Emo Boy punch didn't really have anything to do with it. That's just the way the time line changed. So in all probability, Ollie simply didn't see Jason or Barry in heaven because that's the way the timeline is.

Of course the best answer is always: "It's best not to think about it too hard."

Gordon Freeman could fix all of this with a crowbar and a couple Vortigaunt buddies. :o

Because his body was still in relatively good shape. And he took years to train as well.

The punch could have been rendered years afterward and the effects could have traveled threw the time stream.

You're making this more confusing than it already is :cmad:

they should have just explain jason todd being alive by having been resurrected after being dipped in a lazarus pit... since his soul has been shown to be in heaven, he wouldnt be quite the same after the resurrection because he wouldnt have a soul or conscience holding him back, explaining his constant need to be a raging murderous dick... then johns could have written jason todd: rebirth about how his soul is retrieved from heaven and hes made whole once more and repents being a murdering ******* so he sets out to rededicate himself to bruces teachings... then he totally could be the new batman and dick could still be nightwing

Because his body was still in relatively good shape. And he took years to train as well.

Which could be irrelevant.

The punch could have taken place at the start of "Infinite Crisis", years after Jasons death , with the effects traveling back wards threw the time stream.

Not really.

Time changes are confusing on their own:csad:

Silly. He's no longer writing Booster Gold anymore so of course it isn't as important. Duh.

You question Him? NOW YOU MUST DIE.

LitG had a funny line from John Byrne about Johns:
CBR said:
As to the man who wrote "Flash: Rebirth," Byrne asks "What the _____ happened to Geoff Johns? There was a time when he seemed to know what he was doing!"
Granted, it comes after Byrne's pretty terrible idea of how to bring Barry back.

Good God, am I really agreeing with motha f**kin' John Byrne? Maybe Flash: Rebirth ain't so bad. :o

i had a thought... barry outran the black racer (the manifestation of death for the newgods) in final crisis, effectively defeating him. in F:RB we see the corpse of the black flash (who technically he defeated in the guise of the black racer). maybe by outrunning and defeating him he was chosen to replace him. i know i know, wally already defeated the black flash, but it wouldnt be the first time continuity has been ignored right?

Kind of OT: Who would you rather have in a Flash movie Wally or Barry

^If the Barry in Flash:Rebirth is true to character, then I choose Wally with ever fiber of my being.

I don't even read the Flash, but I happened to see this random post on another set of boards and was so amused I had to post it here too:

Really, Barry’s being brought back because the current creative folks behind the book like it that way. Every time they do this, the logic is flimsy, insulting, and honks off the internet, while the majority of fans resolutely do not care. And five years from now, you/me/everyone won’t either.

Realistically, they could get the same result and save a lot of time if they were just said “Why is Barry coiming back? Why?!? Because F*** you, that’s why.”

I would take either or in a Flash film....I like both Wally and Barry and I think the Flash is the only legacy character that really works
