I don't know. Bart seems to have changed a bit during that time in the Speed Force or wherever they were. He had SBP screaming like a b***h when he showed up.

Yeah, he was screaming for Bart's blood because he kept him locked in the Speed Force with the help of literally every other speedster who ever lived for years. What difference does that make? He's still Bart.

I used to buy Barry's Flash comic in the 70's...

I bought Wally's Flash from issue #1 to 230 off the rack.

I figure I'll keep buying this book...

It'd be cool if it turned out to be Jesse Quick. It's obviously not since the new Flash is male, but that would've been a crazy surprise twist.

If it can't be Wally, I'd rather it be Barry.

Anyone else just wouldn't be THE Flash.

DC seems to be reverting back to its former players, so Barry would be the obvious choice, and since Barry hasn't been in the DCU (other than sporadic appearances and mentions) for 20 years, he would be a fresh face to this generation of readers, yet would have over 40 years of history behind him.

I always hate how DC feels it has to reinvent its wheels every 10 years. In 20 years from now, Diana will return to be Wonder Woman again as Donna Troy retires or whatever, and some other former original Teen Titan will take over his fallen mentor's place, and we'll go through this all over again.

i remember reading (i cant remember who the interview was with) that the speed force would be more important than ever... i was merely pointing out, even if the speed force was still accessable, its not to her. shes forgotten the formula...
