And I'm pointing out that it doesn't matter what happened in the past because if the Speed Force comes back, whatever incarnation it's in now may have absolutely nothing to do with the previous one. All bets are off on the speedsters as far as I'm concerned. The new creators can make pretty much anything happen, including returning Jesse's speed to her.

20 years? That's optimistic. I'm fairly certain Diana will be back in the swimsuit by the end of the new title's first arc.

Unlike the original Crisis of 1985/86, I haven't been following this one.

If you guys think Diana will be back within 6 months to a year, what's going to happen to Donna? Will she go back to her "Wonder Girl" status?

:(

Probably back, to boring convoluted origin/history character known as Donna Troy.

"Wonder Girl" is taken by Cassie Sandsmark, so Donna would probably just go back to being Donna Troy. Or maybe she'd get a new alter-ego. Either way, I don't think Heinberg introduced "Diana Prince" as a supporting character for Donna.

Hmmmph... too bad.

Even though I wasn't following the story (Wonder Woman, along with Thor, are the two most boring comic book characters I've ever read :( :o ), I was figuring they were doing the Donna becomes Wonder Woman ala Wally becomes the Flash type of thing.

Corp is going to want to cut open your penis and fill it with maggots now.:(

Let's see, 20 years ago there was Crisis on Infinite Earths, this year was Infinite Crisis...what other combination can they use fer 2026?

Crisis of Infinity?
Infintessimal Crisis?
Infinity Earth Crisis?

Or mabye they'll shatter the mold and make a true sequel; Googleplex Crisis.

Corp will always want to get at my penis because he loves me so much. :)

I just give him excuses to touch it.

:(

I'm gonna buy the first arc. Just like pretty much every comic. If the first arc doesn't want me to read more, then I'll drop it.

Most of the time comics don't last past the third arc. But in some cases, that's already 25 or so books, so theres no real reason to drop if you're a collector.

Ok, I got to say this, that preview sucked. How many ****ing times do we have to hear about all the great things Barry did. We get it already!

Always the naysayer Darth... ;)

Im actually excited for this title, but the writing team seems to be the same old thing when it comes to people who did tv writing comcis. Extreme decompression.

I don't see any decompression here, just a quick recap for new or young readers who are jumping on. What's wrong with that? Just because we've been reading for years and know it back to front?

It's only a few pages Darth...

6 Pages in a 22 page comic is like 20 minutes of a one hour show.

Again though, you have to remember that it's not just the long-time readers this is aimed at. They have to bring new readers up to speed and if you're not going to get new readers involved in a first issue, what's the point?

I would call typical Bendis arcs decompressed storytelling, where simple conversations take 10-12 pages and the action and battles take place off the page.

Give it a chance to see what happens.

I will, im just tired of Barry this and Barry that.

That looks pretty good... and I'm not a DC fan, although I do like the Flash. If i can I'll get it. If not it's AID's for me. Anyone else want AID's?
