Jeez that is just wrong. I wish it wasnt like that, killing Zoom was one thing (due to the story and its nature and such) but other villians too?

It's okay, I guess. It creates some variety; not every hero should be a stalwart white knight. I only start getting annoyed when it becomes the rule rather than the exception, and that seems to be happening lately.

Well its just that he is the Flash, he is so fast that his movements alone should be able to thwart any crime he sees in progress and take down the villian with out harming him to any major extent. Because he can. Plus what happened to reforming villians? I just think there are certain characters that should be that white knight and those are members of the big 7. Aquaman being the only one on the outside of that due to his nature as a king and in order to defend his kingdom at times he may have to kill in battle.

How does Barry feel about reforming villains nowadays? I seem to remember he thought pretty lowly of them and their ability to change in some of the older stuff I've read from his era (though that's not very much, really, so I may have seen some exceptions to the rule).

He was pretty good to Heat Wave when he reformed but I do not think he believes criminals can change

Agreed

I am also okay with Wonder Woman killing so long as it is only when she has no other option

Well, Barry forcibly 'reformed' the Top back in the day using Zatanna's mindwipe. But I don't think Johns likes reformed Rogues too much in general, so I doubt we'll see Barry doing that anyway. He claimed Barry was more of a black-and-white type of guy than Wally, who supposedly pandered to the villains or some nonsense. Johns already went out of his way to un-reform Heatwave and the original Trickster, too. Not really sure how Barry or Johns feels about Piper, who's basically the only reformed Flash villain who's stayed reformed (even though he appeared to have fallen off the wagon at various times).

Wally never pandered to the villains

He never snapped any of their necks but he did not pander to them:awesome:

It'd be funny if that issue had a big sales spike just for putting them on the cover. :D

DC would just say it's because of the motorcycle, 'We all know people love Motorcycles, the inclusion of Wally and Bart just happen to coincide'

I doubt they'd even acknowledge that much. "It took readers a while to catch on, but the 9th issue seemed to be the moment where they really embraced Barry's return and came to appreciate that he's the one, true Flash!"

*Comment about DC being stupid for giving Barry the spotlight again.*
*Brings up Hal Jordan as well.*

Thought so. I couldn't even remember what the last issue was about w/o looking it up.

I picked up the Flash: Emergency Stop trade today somewhat on a whim.

Decent story. I prefer The Human Race from Morrison and Millar's mini-run within Waid's run. Although it is kind of cool to see Wally still kick ass with two broken legs. :hehe:

I saw The Human Race, but figured I get this one first since I think it came first and was cheaper; I planned to get both eventually.
