Good actor, and he'd be playing the Sam Scudder version (sorry, I know McCulloch's accent is funny and all), Scudder was a guy who could put Captain Cold in his place and typically lead the Rogues before Cold did, he was considered one of The Flash's biggest enemies in the silver age, Slater carries just enough bad assery to pull off those character traits perfectly, IMO.

Cooper is a good actor, he can be a nice guy one minute and a total jerk the next. He'd be perfect for Thawne - a mad scientist from the future who not only has the knowledge that the Rogues lack - he knows who The Flash is, but he also wants to be him, and when he can't be him, he'll try to steal his life (and take his wife), and what he can't have, he'll destroy (hence his killing Iris West in the comics).

“Next up, DiDio introduced Ethan Van Sciver—who spoke at length about Flash: Rebirth which hits shelves next month. Van Sciver expressed his enthusiasm for the project and working with Geoff Johns by saying, “This is the book that Geoff and I have been waiting to do our entire careers—we’re returning Barry Allen to the DC Universe,” which was followed by an eruption of cheers and applause from the audience. I wonder why they shelved it? A high profile video-game could give the franchise good exposure. It could get the public more interested in a film down the road.

It sure would have been sweet. Too bad they can't do anything other than Batman. Even a new Superman game got the shaft. (big surprise again - it isn't Batman! )

The Flash

Barry Allen just died. Another takes up the mantle and becomes the Flash. Wally West tries to battle the growing crime in Keystone City and keep his love ones (including his new girlfriend Linda Park safe). Sort of like a Flash begins.

The Flash 2 (couldn't think of better title)

It has been one year since Wally fought and won the lottery... Wally has been living a luxurious playboy lifestyle and has been receiving great praise as The Flash. But something still haunts Wally. He dreams something (Black Flash) is chasing him. Besides his inner turmoil he has been neglecting Linda. While all this is happening a new villain, Zoom, is coming around.

The Flash III (couldn't think of a better title)

After losing his fortune, his friend, and almost losing Linda, Wally tries to make things go back to normal. But while he does this, 3 villains calling themselves the Rogues try to take over Keystone City.

So, I have been warming up to Barry Allen lately, although Wally is still my favorite Flash. I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again at some point, but the Wally West character and his stories are better suited for a television series, provided it was done right and not on the CW.

Now, who does everyone want to play Iris West? Thats my one toughie, I pretty much know who I want for everyone else, I actually have a couple different actors for a role in mind.

Wally West: Depending on his age, Bryan Greenberg, Joshua Jackson, Topher Grace, or Dustin Milligan.

Barry Allen: Ben McKenzie, Scott Porter, or Peter Krause as an older version of the character.

Jay Garrick: Mark Harmon as an old Jay, Jay needs to be a supporting character no matter what.

Linda Park: Linda Park.

Christina McGee: Amy Acker

i still say since barry is returning to the living in the comics soon dc will likely want first live action flash film be about him. Simular to that hal jordan is the gl in the upcoming green lantern film.
