Ya the problem with Trickster is that he will get immediate comparisons to the Joker and I dont think he can hold the movie by himself

funny you mentioned that show, huge fan and LOVED the costume. one of the best adaptions (sans the over-the-top obvious muscle suit). but colors, texture, and look wise, amazing.

i just recently started watching the show again...on episode 3. i like the idea, but there is a pretty decent rogue gallery they could use if they wanted to.

i loved the show. sadly i didn't know about it until it started re-airing on scifi channel back in the early/mid 90s. i don't think the movie should be that dark though. flash is a more fun character.

can't agree...i thought the suit was awesome...but i think the muscle suit needs to be toned down i bit. i loved the color, the texture, and the look.

That suit was awesome. I've got the DVD set, when it was originally on TV I recorded them all, I love that series. Yes it was dark, but it came out in the shadow of Burton's Batman, even the music was done by Elfman. It was done consciously to match the world of Batman. Just like Batman TAS had to use a Penguin similar to Burton's.

yea if you take the tv show suit with some slight modifications like yellow gloves/boots and a thinner material like say the material from the spider-man movie suits and we would be set.

no yellow gloves. golden boots...sure.

i think the material is perfect...i like the red velvet look. it sets it apart from spiderman, F4, Superman

i would just tone down the muscle suit underneath. althought john shipp did get pretty big for the role.

the yellow boots are a barry staple, but i wouldn't hate it if they weren't there. did flash ever have yellow gloves? i thought it was always the lightning bolt streak on red gloves...

yeah i can do without. but if they wanted to, the gold used in the show with the overall dark environment, it wouldn't look too out of place.

the only time i can think of with the golden gloves was in DC vs Mortal kombat game

maybe trickster?where he's an imbalanced serial killer who put on a gawdy costume in order to kill the flash who he thinks is the real threat to central city? sounds a lot like the joker but less severe crimes.

At first I thought I thought it could be captain cold, or turtle but now I want Zoom(something similar to Iron man) after I read this:

I'd take a costume close to the TV show's, just without the cheapo looking muscles, and not made of velvet.

a costume like the tv show...that doesn't look like the one from the tv show...

i personally like the red velvet. different from the generic spandex or leather the rest of the other superheros use

i hope they go with the iris's dad creates the suit for barry. he could be developing a new material for the military that's as light as cotton but as indestructible as titanium. very batman begins but more science-oriented.

that's the thing, it's made to keep him insulated because anything else would burn off, eventually causing his skin against air friction

even if that weren't the case, i like the uniqueness of it, even if there's no practical sense to it.
