Yea i said it before i would like to see flash series start with barry, but also not to alienate the wally fans out there, i would include him somewhere.

we'll see how WB will handle it. I mean...I really don't want each and every SUMMER to be the war of Marvel Vs. DC movies.

Superman has to come back to the big screen due to the lawsuit so I'm expecting it to be released sometime in 2012. Batman 3 maybe 2012 or 2013; it depends because the Superman lawsuit kinda came out of no where, so WB has to think quickly.

Besides Superman and Batman, I don't know where to place the Flash, unless they can put it during the winter.

I say go the Green Lantern movie route. Hal is the main, Gardner is in a cameo and Alan Scott is a sort of Yoda to Hal in the movie.

In that respect. I once had an idea where a Flash film would have Barry, Jay Garrick's Flash would be a TV show character (who turns out to be the real deal in the sequel) and at the end of the movie we discover that some kid named Wally had wandered into a laboratory on a dare and both Barry and Wally got hit by the lightning/chemicals.

Barry would of course see him but not remember him after the incident. At the end of the movie we would see The Flash investigating the appearance of a second scarlett speedster called Kid Flash. The sequel would have Wally give himself a new name Impulse (essentially, I reversed how he was actually named)

Same here, I want a passing of the torch story. However, seeing as Johns made the treatment, and he's the mastermind behind what's probably the most infamous "taking back the torch" story in comicdom, I'm not holding my breath. He's an unapologetic Barry Allen fanboy, but he did write some excellent Wally West material back in the 90's, so if Warner Bros. wants Wally West then it's possible that he'll oblige.

I'd certainly rather have a Barry Allen Flash movie than no Flash movie at all, but I still want a movie about Barry dying and Wally taking up the mantle. If not in the first one, then in one of the sequels. I think that a story about a sidekick becoming a superhero would definitely set The Flash apart from all the other Superhero origin films out there. I'm really not all that interested in seeing Barry Allen get powers, learn how to use them, design a costume, and all that stuff when it's in every other origin film out there.

Not sure if this means the film will be in active development even if they have writers and a script. We have seen WB bring aboard writers before. Spring/Summer 2013 is the earliest I'd see this happening.

I think WB wants to see how GL performs first. If they committ to 2012 then they have to move into production immediately after GL and I don't see them doing that.
