And regarding him having a talk with Cyke about Cable, I'd love to see Scott's reaction to the knowledge that in the past Gambit has stolen his uniform (complete with Visor) because it "might come in handy sometime".

I hope he didn't steal them for some other ambiguous reasons...maybe Scott can pay him back by stealing Gambit's trench coat and his staff.

WHY would he be stealing his uniform? Sure, in the actual issue, it came in handy, but he apparently stole if before he even needed it.

Maybe they should have a few people in New Orleans blame Scott for stealing their things and shamelessly hitting on women.

Ah that wouldn't make any difference. Apparently Gambit's got an endless supply of those things laying around... I mean, his trench has been destroyed countless times, and he somehow wound up with a whole new uniform (his original one, at that) after Sinister turned Death Gambit back into Real Gambit.

Hard to imagine Scott doing Gambit's type thing, but it should be funny.
But I think Gambit hasn't done much that hitting on girls thing for a long time since he wound up with Rogue.

Um...then Scott still can pay him back by...painting his body armor bright pink!

I mean, his trench has been destroyed countless times, and he somehow wound up with a whole new uniform (his original one, at that) after Sinister turned Death Gambit back into Real Gambit.

That guy single-handedly makes the trench coat industry rich...or maybe he just steals them.

With almost all of the team members having numerous times of changing costume style, Gambit's seems to stay the same- trench coat+ body armor.

Gambit had a plan to scare this guy who was messing with him into believing that The X Men were in New Orleans with him, instead it was really just him and Logan impersonating the others. He actually got Logan to agree to getting painted blue to look like Beast, while he used his spare Scott uniform.

It's not the first time he's impersonated Beast. He did something similar once in his own ongoing before the relaunch. Couldn't tell you the issue number...

I miss it. I don't see why it was cancelled. I enjoyed both of his runs which were sadly, way too short.

It was doing alright for a solo when they cancelled it too... But that's how the character has been treated in recent years. Or should I say, the last decade.

I don't know about an ongoing... But he could possibly get a mini, which would be a start anyway. Mike Carey hinted that in 2008 Gambit's origins could be explored... and though that could easily turn out to be a crapfest itself, it'll probably warrant a mini.

At this point, I would take whatever solo attention they are willing to give him.

Scott couldn't and wouldn't. You can't steal from a thief. You can't steal from Gambit. Besides Gambit would probably steal his visor if Scott did steal his trench.

I'm sorry I stopped buying books around the other summers brother debacle..

1. In 616 Is remy scott's brother,son or clone?

2. Anotomically it should be the same non?

3. If so wouldn't that make him related to cable?

On another note I thought the summers brothers are impervious to each others kinetic enegy/power blasts since all their powers are supposedly solar based?
