Well, shes pretty much just been an extension of Gambit for the past 10 years so her conversation can go here.

Theyre such a bad couple, they should really be split up permanantly. ITs done wonders for Cyk, him dumping Jean and moving on with Emma, but i cant think who Gambit or Rogue should hook up with that might actually improve their characters.

gambit and rogue split up for good? i can hear a round of romy fans yelling in agony. i wouldnt mind, i would love to see rogue with sam or piotr (i would say bobby, but thats out the window)

I'd like to see the ROMY split. It's all been done to death and it's time to move on. Hook Remy up with someone new and interesting. She doesn't even have to be a mutant, just someone he bumps into or gets info from. Anything....

I don't know why the pages stopped at 2, I thought they let threads hang around longer than that. *confused*

It's just that after MC, there hasn't been much Gambit news to blab about.

Hopefully he regain some of his former coolness in Legacy, but who knows. I think he seriously needs to get his solo book back.

I was really hoping this could lead into it....Perhaps the time he spent when Rogue told him to not follow her...Especially since Legacy covers what occured in Gambits past, not present, yes? I highly doubt he'll get a solo in the near future though.

No, Legacy is going to cover his present. It looks like it will be the Prof getting Rogue out of her spell, with Gambit standing by, hopefully not too passively.

Any thoughts on what occured with Wolverine? Did Wolverine only stab the trench coat? If Gambit was indeed stabbed...How'd he recover so quickly? It was just horrible writing, imo. Gambit starts it off by hitting him with a few cards point blank...That should at the least, down Wolverine for a short period of time. Gambit then allows him to lunge at him and attack. It was just horrid.

I guess Sinister "healed" him up quick or something lame like that. He should have been in the hospital for weeks.

You can't necessarily blame it on the writing. It could have easily been Bachalo's crazy ass doing his action scene.

Unless you've seen the script as Carey penned it, of course.
