Are you people blind. He's obviously making goo-goo eyes at her trying to surprise her with that charged card and she took off her glove. This is their idea of a fight.

Though I do like the picture. Gambit is showing a remarkable level of restraint. He's actually looking into her eyes.

I've basically made the argument that the cover is just a symbolization Gambit and Rogue's relationship as a whole. I don't expect them to get back together, but we do know they will be hashing stuff out eventually.

That cover would be an awesome inspiration for one of those "2 Seconds Later" Competitions

We could either have an Explosion pic with blood all around, or Gambit lying on the floor, dead, and a headless Rogue. Yummy.

It makes sense, really. See, when drawn by Bachalo Gambit can look somewhat womanly, which means that Claremont can picture and channel that while, ahem, rubbing and writing. Claremont female power!
