You know what amused me the most about the Romy splashpage scan Profezzor posted in the other thread? The Gambit on the left is from the early days of X-men vol 2 back before Gambit was mired in Romy and it's the only depiction of Gambit in the whole book that actually looks male. I guess it's official cannon now that Gambit has been growing more and more feminine over the years!

Better Wolvie than Archangel.

WTF is up with him being *that* upset about Rogue going MIA anyway in the one-shot?

Well, they've been creating this weird ass connection between Rogue and Wolverine for awhile... and it was just further fueled by the interaction between them in the movies.

I dunno, I think it's kind of creepy.

I also like the scenario with Wolverine catching up with Gambit... at least with Wolverine the writers could do something they haven't let Gambit do in years (fare okay in a fight), since Wolvie's all magic healing power can restore him from anything... :whatever:

Well, I did like the interaction woth Rogue in 204-was worried it might be oeverplayed, but it actually flowed nicely and, more importantly, it made sense!I still say...Gambit has always had his very own agenda,so it might still be in play in 205-though I am SO looking forward to him and Wolvie going at it,I'll have to say;)-but I can't see him actually be a baddie, not after the Mutant Massacre business; that was his defining moment, I think ,when he realised what cost working for the wrong side would demand...There is more to his supposed current defection, there has to be-because, let's face it, Marvel looooves plot twists at the last moment-but we'll see!;)

Now, another duel between the ragin' cajun and the high flying angel...no punches pulled...that'd be fun!LOL (not even sure whar Warren's fighting skills are atm, though...the last decent attack he had,I think, was back in his metal wings days, with those lovely flying metal feathers/knives/whatever they were:p)

picked it up today and thought the remy/rogue stuff wasnt all romancy in their pancies (i made that up yeah) although the risk's always there.

You know, for a supposed wildcard who "has his own agenda" Gambit ends up being the errand boy of a hell of a lot of people. The Guilds, Bella, Sinister, Storm, Rogue, Apocalypse, Sinister again, and now Mystique. What a tool.

sinister does return to normal in MC, atleast in that pic with deathstrike standing over the x-men. he looked liked normal.
i didnt get a chance to read 204 yet, but from what i am reading here angel is actually the one to worry about her? does he actually go out and look for her?
tres wierd, but okay...

whatever happened to gambit's staff? does he not still have his rod of power?

So Rogue must have the marbles then, because I know for a fact she's got something of his and won't give it back.

Just finished reading X-men #204 (Great cover, one of my favorites in a long time for any comic). Great issue. Man, I'm really hoping for Gambit and Rogue to get back together already. Jeez.

Also will Gambit/Rogue play a big part in the upcoming Messiah Complex story?

Is the "One Shot" that just came up really worth collecting to keep up with Messiah Complex?

Ah what's he going to do anyway, flap his wings at people? :woot:

I'm just not a Warren fan.

LMAO...why yes..thats EXACTLY what he is going to do....or pick them up and take them into the stratosphere and drop them.....he can also fling his blood at the wounded

Heh same here.

Warren/Angel..Whatever...just seems like such a lame character. How effective can this guy really be in battle?
