Me either. Y'know, since I'm not ******ed like the AI and I actually use the dodge move.

I started my Professional career and just finished the hotel (1st visit).

I am dreading fighting Azetlor.

Stone angels:
just use the slime tether, tether them to the ground or to a wall or building and watch them smash.

I think its easier to use the proton stream on em, but yea my first time through i did what u suggested.

I tried tethering them, with very little success. While you're trying to select a wall or the floor to slime them to, they do a pretty good job of surrounding and dropping you. I made it through that sequence by keeping Ray on his feet and trying to slam them ASAP.

Yeah, the slam works for me. I can't seem to get the tether working well enough.

I killed Azetlor after a few tries. I hate that guy, he's got some seriously nasty attacks and trying to navigate that arena without getting f'd up is difficult.

Two more fights on my **** list to go.

The possessor fight in the lobby of the museum (not hard so much as it keeps you pretty f'n busy and with only two hits before falling I imagine this is going to be hard) and then the ****ING STONE ANGELS.

It's funny how those stone angels are harder than a freaking Destructor form in the ghost world, haha!

Well, when they make you and the other Ghostbusters so slow, speed really is your greatest weakness. Those stone angels are fast little bastards.

I just have to say, why the **** ARE THOSE STONE ANGLES SO HARD.

Otherwise, the game is still a joy to replay. The writing is still hialarious and the gameplay is terrific. Albeit, starting in the msueum the AI goes down too much, but I'm too much of a snob to play it on casual. At the same time, I would never try professional, b/c I be scared. :hehe:

Favorite level has to be Times Square. Though the Hotel (first time), Library and Museum are all great.

I usually don't like the easy difficulty but for this game it seems just right. I spend most of my time on my ass on casual and above.

I've been on vacation since a few weeks after the game's release. I miss it soooo much! Anyone know if a decent amount of people are still playing on PSN?

Did the developers ever explain why this game is so much like Gears of War?

I've not dabbled online in about a week, but last time I played I had no problems finding a game or partners.

Wuhh?

I'm not saying the gameplay is exactly gears, but it is definitely influenced by it, and it just seems like an odd place to stem from. I just never played GeOW and was like 'you know what would also be good coming out of those sink holes? Ghosts.'

Not to sound argumentative here, but I honestly don't really see the comparison. The gameplay's pretty different and about the only thing is the team stuff, but I can't say I really think they share much there either

I think any over the shoulder, 3rd person action/shooter should stem from Gears. Its a fantastic base.

The style of over the shoulder view, the running mechanic, the sink holes/portals which you have to shut to stop the waves of enemies, the team reviving. If you've played both games, they have a similar feel. I'm not talking about what you do (Catch ghosts vs. cover system, etc..) just the basic mechanics and style.

I'm not knocking Ghostbusters, I'm just pointing it out. It's especially odd since that leaked Ghostbusters prototype/canceled game footage looked very Gears-ish.
