Crying to the Mods I see. Maybe your name should be Sensitive Sidepocket or maybe Sissy Sidepocket.
The movie and game industry thanks those lazy parents every year (in BILLIONS), because the ratings are full of crap. It doesn't stop kids from seeing or buying R-rated movies or games, it makes them gravitate towards them even more. If kids didn't watch movies like 300, do you think it would be as successful as it was, moreso than Batman Begins (which is PG-13)? That's just the way it is, FCC my ass, they're just letters that no one but you pay attention to.
And you should be called "The Un-Visionary Psychotic Waste of A Good Bar of Soap and a Shower".
Not crying to the mods, I am just calling for justice when there is none.
It has nothing to do with the ratings, in fact the ratings is what is holdings things back in our society. When you see a rating, its a warning, therefore you cannot cry fowl after if you have a negative impact from it.
Cigs have warning that says you get lung cancer. Therefore if you get lung cancer from cigs you should have no right to complained because we warned your stupid self in the first place.
You do not get it though, Movie Theaters and Game Stores have a rule that they NEVER sell kids M or R rated stuff. However like with most warnings, nothing stops other adults from taking the same products and exposing it to there kids. This is were parenting should come in, of course, it fails in our society.
How do you think kids get cigs and beer from? The companies and stores do not sell them to kids, but the older brothers or other adults who do not care BUY IT FOR THEM!
Oh and while Batman is popular with kids, I never saw anyone below 17 care for 300. In fact when I went to see it, everyone was 20+. Only one woman was stupid enough to bring her infant in and after the first 40 seconds the kid cried and she left the theater.
In short, f'you and your insane ramblings and lets get back on topic.
P.S. You can be mature and yet not have an R-Rating. If you think all mature is blood and guts than I think you are the one who has not grown passed 12. Ever read this classic? This had no comics code on it or anything:

P.S.S. I work in the games industry and you are out of your mind if you think we encourage kids to buy our game. Right, that is why we air our ads at 3am in the morning and constantly try to sell these things to ADULTS! We do not want kids to buy M-Rated games, we want adults to buy them. This is why...they are MADE FOR ADULTS!!! In fact, we are starting to support a new law that basically makes it illegal in the US officially to sell such games to children. The problem is, there is no laws against lazy parenting. If a grown up wants something we have to give it to them, what they do with it is out of our hands.
And yes, IMMATURE teenagers love this stuff because they think it makes them grown up, until you reach adult age and you do not give a crock about blood or gore anymore and realize that Gory does not equal Mature. Mature is mature. There is a difference. If people started to teach this, like my parents did, there would not be all this stupid stuff you see now.
DUH!
