After a few hours of smash and bash I guarantee that game will turn to ****. I am merely guessing but I would say Infamous is the superior of the two

yeah Protoype seems to be more about the violence and not about the story. Looks like it lacks more substance

Infamous sure has more interest (even before the reviews) here in the hype than Prototype. But I gotta say electricity powers doesn't appeal to me much. Oh well, it's really the gameplay that counts.

The problem so far with Prototype is not the lack of story, i believe it will kick major ass in that department, at least, look at the way you unveil it, very conspiracy theory.
The problem, imo, is that it looks way too chaotic for it´s own good.
Of course, that can very well be because all gameplay we´ve seen iso far is at the 7/10 hours into the game.

Yes I did. I was really pumped about the game when I first heard about it but was turned off by the first gameplay footage shown. Everything Ive seen since, hasnt really impressed me quite the way I hoped it would. I hope the game succeeds and depending on reviews, I might get it, but its not something Im really anticipating anymore. The one thing Im not liking about the game is the environment. I guess living in NY, playing yet another game in NYC doesnt really interest me. It kind of looks alot like Spiderman to me, which also doesnt have much variety due to its location.

The electricity powers didnt interest me either from all the previews I saw and I thought they would get old fast and be boring, but the demo showed Cole using them in a variety of different ways and that was only a small bit of it. The powers really arent a concern for me anymore bc they were fun to use. I really like the recharging and how you can use your powers to interact with innocent bystanders for either good or bad.

I'm not buying until after exams, which is a little over 2 weeks off of release over here. I don't mind not being the the Uncharted 2 Beta, although I would like to get one of the little voucher thingies.

I did have fun with the demo however I have a strong feeling I will get bored with it quickly. There doesn't seem to be many abilities in the game and the mission structure looks to be redundant as well.

Definately fun, but not worth a purchase.

I downloaded the demo and I think this game will be great.I like the way Cole can traverse the environment,for example he can grind along power lines and ride the train tracks.It's a very cool feature.The powers are awesome to look at and unleash.I love the shock grenade and the lightning storm move.

WOOHOO, I just picked up the game and guide (I like collecting guides for the art work)!!!up: I'm not gonna play it just yet, I'll be on it a little later today but it's great to have friends in low places (Gamestop) who don't care about street dates lol!!!
