Sorry to Superman die hard fans, but it won't be a franchise like the Harry Potter films. I can definitely see Grint taking the role while working on other movies as well.

though i doubt it will happen...it has the potential. Avatar had one thing that most other movies don't....a HUGE target audience. Avatar's audience ranged from ages 8 to 80 (the original working title was Project 880) which is exactly how i would describe Superman's audience....and Superman's already well known. on top of that, the potential for action sequences easily surpass Avatar's as well as characterization.


again...i'm not saying that Superman will surpass Avatar, nor do i expect it to even come close....but it DOES have Avatar-type potential.

Good stuff IF true! He may wind up playing Eddie Nashton after all, but he won't be The Riddler per say.

He would have brought some depth, wit and charm to the role of Jimmy Olsen.
