Meg, looking good! Does your mom want to take in my nurses dress for me and stuff? It needs some MAJOR work. If I loose a little bit more weight (I pigged out for 12 days while on vacation...) I think there will be enough material in the front to take the buttons off and add a zipper, LOL! My sleeves and stuff need work as well.

She didn't use a pattern and it took her so long to perfect, that the idea of making anything else Joker related for a long time is not in the cards for her :P

I'm selling my Magnoli tie. It's been dyed darker, which has also helped to take that crisp newness away from it.

I was just joking anyway, but if she wanted to do it I was gonna let her. LOL!

Not that anyone cares to see them....But I recently went to VA Beach and took some CJS pics. Didn't bring my make up...So i sorta screwed myself out of some good pictures. So I took some of my back. LOL.

And I got myself a hat too.

My mum just got me pretty much the BEST early birthday gift ever... my very own mannequin to display my nurse outfit!!!
I couldn't be happier with it, I think it looks absolutely wonderful. And twas a cool bonus that his hand holds the wig perfectly.
I'm SO happy with it and thought I'd share some pics

IndyJokerJones - I LOVE the shrine!!! Very cool - you can NEVER have too much Joker related paraphernalia!!!

Jodo - My mum got this gem of a mannequin on Craigslist if that helps any... It was literally a 30 minute drive away from my house! How cool of a coincidence is that!!!!

So I randomly went to a costume shop today to purchase more Spirit Gum for FanExpo... and I found this mask and HAD to get it!!
It's so light weight and fits and moves with my facial features/expressions so well - I couldn't resist.

Definitely some great inspiration for a new outfit for whatever Cons and whatnot 2011 has to offer!
I can't wait to put the make up on it!!

well i have officially cracked the 2 grand mark spent on my suit. i sent my vest into Indy to have the correct lining put in. she looks alittle road weary having been to India and back in under 2 weeks but some ironing and weathering will fix that right up. and also having recieved the best damn tie in the world (thanks to a very good friend), i'm only waiting on my Magnoli braces to arrive and i think i can say i'll have as good a lookin' display as Meg and Shaw. i'll post pics when the whole thing is complete. i'm looking forward to more weathering with the suit actually on the mannequin instead on the floor!
good work everybody, i love it that we are all still passionate about these endevours.
