The Official Kristin Kreuk Thread

Saw Street Fighter last month and at best it was a fair film. KK was the best part of the movie for me, everything else was meh.

I just watched it recently. It wasn't terrible like everybody made it out to be, although it was nothing great either. My only beef with it was the narration KK did near the beginning.

To me, it was just a campy martial arts flick. Was it close to the source material? A bit. Entirely accurate? No. Was it fun? It had a few moments here and there that were worthy of note. But honestly, I don't think it would suit a long time SF fan. Especially if their hardcore fans of the games.

The movie was terrible and it was a ****** martial arts movie. All the fight scenes looked awful. Kreuk looked terrible doing the wire work and the spinning bird kick.

Also the big turning point in the movie is apparently where she works up the nerve to stop a thug. Uh what? She sees thugs beating up on defenseless Thai people and stands aside and does nothing because she was too powerless to do so. Nothing changed except her own idiocy. I hate Justin Marks writing.

It sucks all she has coming up is Chuck, I always pictured her in some big movies after Smallville guess not though

Well she is on the Ben Hur miniseries on ABC. I personally pictured her doing a bunch of chick flicks.

well she probably want to do more films but probably going to be awhile since this SF film bombed and she needs to do something else like do well with chuck guest spot, or that ben hur thing coming soon. To show folks to put more faith in her acting.

She's not going to do more films because she's TV actress plain and simple. She wanted to do bigger film roles and that really isn't working out for her.

Yeah me too idk why but i pictured her in like Notebook type films or those romantic comedies lol

Well I could be wrong but I think KK is the type of actress that strikes a cord more with female viewers then male ones, so trying to market her to a male audience might not be the best way to go.

Hysterical! And ironic. Have you posted the same argument in the Superman forums as well? Just wondering. :o

Always like Kristin its a shame Lana turned out to be bloody awful.

yea i have nothing against her as a person or a actress just after season 2/3 her lana character just became a total mess and i totally hated the character from that point on. Yes a few episodes here and there ok but other times totally bad. As for vile who knows what any one wants to do. Maybe they want to do films or maybe they want to do more tv we have no clue what they want to work on or what their agents get them.

For me my Lana hate started around Season 4 when she became a witch(although S3 she wasn't really my favorite as the secret and lies stuff was getting a lil repetative).

It's definantly one of my pet peeves of this show how they constantly threw characters into storylines that don't really add nothing to Clark's journey. Lana being a witch to me was the first real sign to me that the producers made Lana out more then she should have been.

totally she should have left the series with the whole going to paris thing, and not return to the show full time. Maybe a few guest spots along the way. So then they could have gotten past the lana relationship for clark, and maybe develop some other relationships like with chloe, or maybe someone like a lori(from the comics).

sounds like the person had fun on set and with the actors. I myself have met a few actors and been on a real soundstage once last summer. It was a fun experience.

HEEEEEEEEEELL NO! I'll take what we got over that any day of the week. The Clark & chloe "Love crap" needs to stay dead forever.

as much as I hated clana angst, I would hate the chlark crap even more.

I somewhat agree. I think Chloe should have stayed dead at the end of Season 3, so then Lana could have been the one to go on and discover Clark's secret in Season 4, and then see where that relationship went and how the both of them could have really handled it.

I personally think the show should have mapped out a 4 year plan for Clark's highschool career, did full out Clana the last 2 seasons of that, then if the show went 5 years get rid of all Clark's HS friends(Lana, Pete and Chloe)

S5 was the first season it felt like the show was stretching things out big time and going into major stalling mode. A Slight cast revamp would have freshened things up.

Tom i was talking more back in season 3/4 time frame for a relationship with chloe lol. But yea they draged the dam lana and clark relationship for far to long. She should have been gone a long time ago. Then they should have moved clark into other relationships.

SV fan i totally agreed the highschool years should have been handled slighty differntly. They should have tried to made pete a more focal character, there shouldnt have been a whitney. I personally think it should have been lana and clark were a couple already at the start of the season. Then have it they were good, but with him always ditching her to go save someone she couldnt handle it any more. So they broke it off mutally. Then they should have gotten into the whole lana and pete relationship from the comics. They should have dated for a time. Then either of pete/lana finding out about clark's powers from one reason or another. Then when come time for the show to finish highschool days. Pete/lana should have gone off somewhere far for school. Clark stayed home and went to some local college and then we bring in new relationships and all that. Plus it would have been nice to see him have gone back to college too. All we got out of the college days was most of season 5, and a little bit of talks in early season 6 and talks that chloe was doing night school.

For the sake of TV I think it would be better to start them off single then you can build up to them getting together for a couple seasons. The main problem with any relationship on TV is I think most of them have about 2 seasons to build up till:

1 it starts getting annoying when they find every reason to stall them or
2 you actually put them together and you get 1 or 2 years worth of storylines out of it before it gets boring.

That's why a 4 year plan of Clana would work perfectly. It would have cut out all the secrets and lies crap that turned off some viewers(in late S2/early S3), and you could have built up alot of big moments(first kiss, first date, Clark tells Lana his secret) and ended in time just before the relationship got boring. Having them start off in a relationship sort of limits the amount of stories you have till it gets boring.
