Grandpa Joe said:Tom Brokaw (sp?) on NBC nightly news just said Jay Leno in 2009 will give up his position to Conan O'Brien since his contract runs out. Tonight I believe he said was the tonight shows 50th anniversary or something. Jay says he would like to take out his wife for duinner before he turns 60 and in 2009 he will be 59.
YAY conan.

And no more Leno gets all the glory jokes
And no more Leno gets all the glory jokes

Grandpa Joe said:Anyone watching Leno right now for the whole Conan thing which will be coming up after this commercial break and ofcourse 50 years of the Tonight show?
zer00 said:it won't...
conan has more control on Late night anyway.
He won't have as much on the tonight show.
Lighthouse said:Appreciate Leno for his straightfoward honesty.

Grandpa Joe said:Well i'm happy for Conan. Sure things are going to probably change but its going to happen and I have every little bit of faith Conan will make it great and enjoyable he makes sure he never disappoints and he never will. He'll put back the pizazz the Tonight Show lost when Leno took it over. Conan reminds me of a 'todays' version of Carson for some reason, he'll make the show the best it could be and may even do things Leno would never do, yank some balls. I'm not worried at all.. Consie knows what he's doing. He'll bring the Tonight show to it's all time height.
