I believe Carson does a New Years Eve Show for NBC every year, so he's probably promoting that and of course his kick ass show that follows!

The only time I'll watch is if David Cross or some other comedian is on and I feel like staying up.

Speaking of New Years, another year goes by without Conan's Central Time Zone Countdown 31st is on a Sunday.

No NBC has there countdown show and then at 12:35am EST/11:35pm CST a new episode of Conan would air where they show clips from the previous season, announce some crazy way to countdown, bring out the 1st guest and then during that segment start the countdown. Its an annual tradition since there is no big countdown for the central time zone just local stuff. But NBC isn't going to air Conan on Saturdays or Sundays.

Well...towards the end of Rashida's interview she turned to Rob and said we met before too..."when I was 16 you were dating a friend of mine"....whoa! I don't think she new about his sex tape scandal from the 80's when he was caught with 16 year old girl in a 3way. That must have hurt...his look was classic too...fake gun in the mouth...blows brains out. It was awkward.

Yes I watched her interview and couldn't believe she brought that up with him sitting there. Lowe doesn't need to be associated with dating friends of 16 year old girls. And to top it all off she revealed they put dog crap in his shoes before he was to leave for the Oscars.

If Lowe wasn't there who knows what might've been said.

Do you think he might get Conan's show when he leaves? Its early 2007 and Conan will be leaving in May/June 2009. Seems like he's on once a month now, performing and then showing us the latest Pale Force cartoon. Lorne Michaels does produce the show and wanted Conan to host Late Night, so he might have a say in the new host; I don't know what the contract situation he has with NBC right now. Letterman owns his show and the Late Late Show, Stewart owns his show and The Colbert Report, Johnny Carson owned his show and Late Night in the 80s - Conan would probably want the same kind of deal where he can choose the host and take a cut of the profits.

Jimmy Fallon or Carson Daly to replace Consie?
There was also an article I read that ABC shot two pilots for an hour long version of Nightline which would mean cancelling Jimmy Kimmel Live. Which is strange since they gave him a primetime special and its a way to showcase ABC actors/shows.
