Yea Jackie's face looks more like your traditional psycho or something. I can see him pulling off evil. But Sinestro isn't just evil.

And yea, I really couldn't see him bossing someone like Reynolds around and talking down to him like he's a piece of dirt.

Ugh, don't like JEH as Sinestro at all. As others have said, physically he just doesn't fit the character.

I'd imagine we'll see the fighter jet construct at some point.

They don't always use constructs though. Sometimes they just fire them as beams of energy.

I'm so very "meh" on JEH as Sinestro. On the one hand, he's a good actor and I like his work. On the other hand, I'm not seeing it facially or physically.

However I wouldn't mind JEH. He's a great actor like some mentioned. Yes the physical issue comes into play, but that's what movie magic's for. I remember there being a pretty good manip someone did of JEH as Sinestro back in October when the first rumor of him being lined up for the role hit:

That is pretty damn cool, makes it alot easier to imagine him in the role.

I'm much more intrigued by this casting than by the expected hugo weaving/jason isaacs casting.

I don't think the size thing will be an issue. Remember keaton and nicholson?

Keaton was plenty intimidating.

I'm kinda just getting the impression that JEH is just the WB's choice for the role and hasn't been actually cast yet.

That said, while I wouldn't be as disappointed as I was when Lively was cast as Carol, I still wouldn't be that enthusiastic if Haley was cast as Sinestro. I pretty much agree with Ace about the reasons why.

Daniel Craig has actually been my choice for awhile, but wont available. Issacs and Weaving are cool, but too predictable. Viggo Mortenson has been growing on me as a possibility more recently though.

jeh was good as rorschach, but this is something different. he looks nothing like sinestro, plus no one really knows who he is outside of movie buffs.they should go with a more established actor. jason isaacs or michael sheen might work better. hugo weaving would be ideal, but i doubt he'd do it. they all look more sinister than jeh.
