well, in terms of make-up, I can see them pulling a Spock, and give his arching brows and elf ears. It is the Star Trek make up crew here, so I'm not too worried. Maybe he'll have texture on his skin.

Nope not fake, they were releasing those at comic con, reynolds was signing them for fans, the lines covering sinestro's face form the green lantern symbol. I myself didnt get one but i believe i saw others posters like that getting signed

Why am I getting the creeps from Sinestro? The guy is freaking me out! He has that look in his eye that says,"I am evil and I want to kill you...slowly."

Mark is going to pull a good performance for this.

in the new HD poster it looks like its a line on hes face. not a scar. its part of hes alien skin IMO.

the skin is IMO a littel to much like human skin. they could add more make up and maybe use a different texture.

but i will whait for the whole shot of him.

Overall sinestro is gonna be amazing, im a huge fan of mark strong and i think hes a perfect choice, if you look at all his interviews about the film you can clearly tell he knows how to setup sinestro in a way that sets him up to be a villain and he really understands the character and how it needs to be done. And come on he looks great as sinestro!

It almost looks like they enlarged sinestro's eyes, though it could be an illusion.
