I was a big fan of his look in GL First Flight so i'm looking forward to get a better look at him. Right now his eyes look like obvious contact lenses, i'm wondering if they will make them look more natural via CGI.

I don't know what it is...but every time I look at that sinestro picture, he looks like a red toddler with a mustache. I gotta wait for a full shot of him before I can say much else though.

More than Sinestro's, yeah....but I mean, everyone's image is heavily touched up..

Again that? ALL images in movie posters these days are touched up, particularly for blockbuster movies. It´s no big deal. Of course Sinestro won´t look "exactly" like that, but he looks pretty cool and I´m sure he´ll look cool in the movie.

it seems like Alex (the interviewer) was either nervous (don't blame him) or isn't articulate. If you notice, when he leads into a question or ends his question, he's kinda rambles on. Luckily Mark knows when to step in so it doesn't become awkward.

i got the feeling he was either nervous or ill prepared. as in didnt have what he wanted to ask him at the ready. Sorta like me when I'm unexpectedly faced with a hot girl "ramble...ramble...ramble..." lol

Mark Strong Describes Sinestro's 'Green Lantern' Costume, Reveals Rejected Looks

Even though we received our first look at Sinestro in "Green Lantern" last week via a series of promotional posters for the film, there's still a lot of unanswered questions when it comes to Hal Jordan's mustachioed mentor in the Green Lantern Corps.

During this year's Comic-Con, MTV News caught up with actor Mark Strong, who plays Sinestro in "Green Lantern," and got more info about the popular character's look for the film and how it evolved.

"People will be — and I am — really delighted at the fact that they've really made sure that he is as he is in the comics," said Strong. "Because there was a whole production run of ideas of ponytails and goatees and all this kind of stuff, [and] I couldn't really understand why they would want to change it, because it's so successful in the comic."

"It's born of the look of David Niven, that moustache and that widow's peak, and I think it would be a shame to get rid of it," he added. "I'm delighted, because he looks pretty much exactly like he is in the comic."

Asked how the "Green Lantern" team pulled off his signature look, Strong said it was "prosthetics and makeup from the neck up," but indicated that the suit would be entirely CGI — much like Ryan Reynolds' "Green Lantern" costume.
