The Official Mark Strong & Sinestro Thread

Strong is very versatile in his accents though., I doubt he'd play Sinestro with a Cockney accent.

He's also rocked the Sinestro pencil thin moustache on film before:-

I have the feeling that he would be like the most intelligent of all lanterns, and there leader, strong is just cut up for this role, this will be the most incredible of all superhero movies!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally I like the bearded idea that's presented on this concept art, moustache was pretty 80's, althoug I have nothing against it (my dad wears one), I just don't think aliens find it fashionable:

I really can't wait until we see reynolds and strong in costume. They usually release a shot like that a few months into filming right?

I think they release photos when they re almost done with shooting. I really dont think they do it in pre-production.

Both Batman pics were released earl during production of the Nolan films, along with Superman. Expect to see something hopefully by Mayish.

Ah, therein lies the problem. How the hell are we supposed to know what aliens find fashionable. Sinestro could wear his classic costume if that's what his species thinks is cool.

Sinestro would make a mention of his home planet Korguar and states that it's "the most orderly planet in the galaxy". Then towards the end of the film, we would see this:

This would show Sinestro's dark side and how he willing to do anything to presevre order, even if it means take "extreme" measures.

If he wasn't typecast before, Mark Strong is definitely typecast now...especially after Sherlock Holmes, Kick-Ass, and then this.

At least he's gonna have a lot more work after 2011.
