watched it last night.
Honestly, I love this idea and makes perfect sense, to give many mutants more room to breath and explore the school to its full potential. The movies always had very little stuff on the school (and personally I love this stuff, seeing mutants living together, their day to day life on the school, training, drama, tension, conflicts, action, adventures....) Sounds like a perfect x-men show imo, and Id bet money some X-Men would appear on this (specially if Marvel goes for 20s something actors, they would appear for sure! lol, and it would be so much fun).
suddenly, now I NEED this show to be made lol. if Feige is smart, he will greenlight it.

20s something actors are just like any other actor. They would appear if they got paid the right amount of money, and the schedule allowed them to make appearances.

But yeah, if done well a school centric X-Men spin-off series could work alongside the big screen adventures.

It just would have to be done the right way.

if Marvel could get Jeremy Renner, Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, Florence Pugh, Elizabeth Olsen and co. appearing on disney+ shows.... they wont have any problem making young talents (not A-list yet) appearing on the show lol.

neither is a complicated issue. If Feige wants some X-Men actors on the show as guest stars, he can get it. Marvel Studios has been in the business for almost 16 years, you know?

I think it was fine for her one-off episode of She-Hulk since She-Hulk was a sitcom. My problem with She-Hulk is that it didn't strike the right balance. Madisynn was just too much for me and I didn't find her funny. But I really don't want to see her again.

We aren't going to know every student in every class there is in the Xavier Institute. Its not like they'd have just twenty students, and we would know them one by one.

I want to know every student living in the Xavier Institute, and I don't want to see hundreds or dozens of background mutants in the mansion.

You don't need to spin it as a negative thing as I was just clearly expressing what I want to see. If you want to see hundreds of student in the X-Mansion and only know 7 of those students and also claim there would be no background mutants, okay.

I can see this series taking inspo from Harry Potter and the new Wednesday show. Young powered kids at school.

You know, it just occurred to me... I think pretty much everyone heard the rumour about Kitty being on the team and kind of assumed that she is going to be a teenager. But what if the MCU wants a grown-up Kitty Pryde?

In my mind, this would also make sense of Margaret Qualley's name being flung around. Maybe she is/was actually being considered for the role of an adult Kitty instead of Rogue. Just my theory.

Not necessarily. Lest we forget what was attempted at the height of the X-men's popularity.



I think Marvel's output on Disney+ has been that severe skepticism is deserved. Plus, you add in all evidence of what is going on inside the company and who they are trying to appease.

Also, there have been enough writers who have done terrible, terrible things with Kitty despite claiming to love the character, for her to be a red flag to me.

I get your points, but lets be serious here lol. Marvel has the resources now, and the money to make a really great live action X-Men show. They did X-Men 97, so they can make another great show if want it, and would be their first live action x-men show, so I doubt they will be lazy with their first entry.
