X-Men The Official MCU X-Men News and Discussion Thread

because the name "Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters" is false advertising and its actually a cult :tearsofjoy:
I would think the government would classify it as a terrorist organization because they're literally taking children and training them for combat.

that could lead to a pretty interesting plot on the reboot. :yummy:
we kinda got it in X2, I know, but there are many different ways to explore this concept and the consequences and all.

you are comparing a potential show in 2028-2029 to a 1996 one?
for real? lol.
I get your points, but lets be serious here lol. Marvel has the resources now, and the money to make a really great live action X-Men show. They did X-Men 97, so they can make another great show if want it, and would be their first live action x-men show, so I doubt they will be lazy with their first entry.

Why don't you wait till season 2 before you heap praise for stuff they haven't done yet.

I know a lot of people enjoy Madisynn. I can understand somewhat.

I watched X-Men 97 season 1, the very first tv project about the X-Men by Marvel Studios.
They did Deadpool & Wolverine too, their first mutant film that it seemed almost everyone on earth loved.
Isnt that enough for you to have some confidence about X-Men projects at Marvel Studios?

They could do a mini-series called "Sinister" charting Mister Sinister's journey from Dr Nathaniel Essex into the villain with an obsession with Scott Summers and Jean Grey. In the movies, Sinister can just appear as a fully fledged villain for the X-Men to fight, but the mini-series would give background for those interested but isn't necessary to watch to know what's going on.

Also Mister Sinister should be played by Matthew Goode.

A Rogue Disney+ series would be great to get people acclimated to the ideas of mutants in the MCU—her power is the perfect embodiment.

She could be a young runaway and encounter Mystique, Destiny and their mutant terrorists; or Gambit and the Theives Guild (though I’d save that for a season 2)

Develop a main X-Men film with Kitty as the young POV (alongside other young students). After the film, Kitty and Prof X return for a Mutant Academy Disney+ series alongside Rogue Season 2.

"You're hired"
if I was Feige, I'd hire you.

A rogue movie would absolutely slay the young adult Romantacy demographic which is so hot right now

They make up new idiotic words every sec

Fantasy romance or romantic fantasy will do it for me, thanks

oh don’t be so old and let the young people have their fun. It’s all the rage these days especially Sarah j maas. Actually I suppose it was all the rage back in my time too when I think about it

We had romantacy in my day.

We called it Fifty Shades Of Grey. :sneeze:

This and Drew Goddard's X-Force movie were two casualties of the Fox buyout that really bum me out.
Yeah hopefully marvel brings back Goddard for an x-force movie once the main franchise is established.

Until then it’s Waiting for Goddard

I think a Disney+ series for any mutants would just lower the anticipation for the next X-Men movie/s.

I don't think any of Disney+ shows have helped any of the MCU movies.
