I have no issue with LSD being credited. She did a lot for X-Men and should be rightfully compensated and acknowledged. Kinberg on the other hand is a leech. Either way, neither are involved creatively anymore. It's about getting paid.

Yeah it's about the money. But it's crazy they're still attached to it. And it is the money that is keeping these characters out.

Marvel really made a crazy deal back in the 90s.

I doubt it was Marvel that has the deal with Shuler Donner and Kinberg. They are likely contracts with Fox.

I liked Lauren Shuler Donner as well. But I didn't like how they let Simon Kinberg have a massive say in the Fox films, after the allegations for Singer finally caught up to Singer. And it was also quite evident Donner, didn't know much of the X-Men mythos, or else, a lot of the stuff we saw in the movies wouldn't have been there.

As for Kinberg, good luck with those Star Wars films... I wouldn't be surprised if they score as low as Fant4stic and Dark Phoenix.

He single handedly ruined FoX-Men. I think after Apocalypse, it was still salvageable especially after Deadpool 1/Logan 2017. But Fox didn't look for anyone to direct the next movie after Apocalypse, and we got Kinberg's 2nd take on Dark Phoenix, and it was much worse than the 1st one!

So when Fox was selling their movie studio, I was like thank God! Imagine how many terrible X-Men movies we would have gotten if 20th century Fox wasn't sold.

I mean, Kinberg did save Apocalypse because Singer was a no show. And got Trank's FF released. As a producer, I don't see an issue. The problem tends to come when he gets into writing.

Apocalypse was just another rotten rated movie in his resume.

There's no excuse for Dark Phoenix which was all Kinberg.

The Feb 2026 placeholder date they announced isn't even happening anymore, because we are already less than a year away from it and no film has been announced for that date.

Yeah but Qualley looks noticeably older than Sadie Sink, so it would be odd having Rogue be older than Jean
Cox, Woll and Henson are all in their 40's where its a bit tougher to nail down

Sadie Phoenix Sink is likely not playing Jean. If she is, its probably Multiverse related like in Multiverse of Madness, which we got the Professor and a new actor for Mr. Fantastic which didn't even come back for the actual FF reboot.

The X-Men movie doesnt have a director yet, what do they expect? the new director being signed now and only having 4-5 months before start filming? yiiiikes.

Directors need time to prep a movie; improve the script, get familiar with the source material a bit, get the whole crew he wants, and all the stuff a big budget movie like this needs. And all of this requires a lot of time in advance, not just 4-5 months before the cameras start rolling. That would be soooo rushed, and not one single director would accept these conditions.

Ugh this live stream, I feel I'm passing out every 20 minutes. I jumped up and down when I saw Alan's name and then 20 minutes later, its freaking James Marsden. Channing we just saw last year, so I didn't really pass out but my god... Halle, famke, anna my queens announce them sooner or asap!!!! I'm not sleeping yet because of this ridiculous live streaming but I'm fanning so hard right now!!!!+
