Great news but I would be more happy if a MG movie went the route of Advent Children, there wouldn't be any limitations at all.

What exactly about MGS limits it from being make-able? It's a fairly grounded story. Short of Psycho Mantis

Meryl Sylverburgh: Scarlet Johan (w/ red hair dye)

Hal "Otacon" Emmerich: Sean Maher a.k.a Simon from Firefly (with bleached hair)

Revolver Ocelot: Gary Oldman (w/ old person makeup)

Colnel Roy Campbell: Gene Hackman

Oh man, Sean would make the perfect Hal, great choice there.

I agree with Bana, I've always thought he had that Snake look, especially in Black Hawk Down. Also, I know Solid and Liquid are supposed to be identical, but I just think Sean Bean would make a great Liquid.

I agree, but I feel bad for Sean, he's always getting cast as the bad guy.. and he himself would not be a bad Snake..
Of course maybe they could do some makeup to make them look more alike?
