I'm...undecided on this trailer. There were good moments, but other parts a bit 'meh' -- I dunno, I think it just feels like a very noncohesive trailer; it's not helping me get a taste of the final product.

I can definitively say that I'm not liking Rorschach's voice....I feel like he's pounding me over the head with the dialogue.

The trailer was good, but I liked the teaser much better. Either way the movie looks great, I just didn't dig the music in this one. And music basically sets the mood for trailers for the most part.

Isn't that the point? He's writing journal entries. He's essentially reading what he's written.

I have a quick question.

Does anyone know if there will be dialouge given directly from a character but not actually spoken by him or her? The voice just echoes in the background.

In other words will they use the same kind of movie device that was used in Sin City's dialouge?

I think its the cutting... Who watches over them? Visionary director... celebrated graphic novel of all time... why get so obvious?

I like Rorschach's voice though... never even thought of Bale's Batman until I read someone bring it up here. But that cutting takes away from the trailer... not a good choice of music towards the backend of the trailer.

I thought before that ozy's mask looked a little odd, but I now see the similarities to the eye of horus.

Rorschach sounds like Bale's Batman? Sure, if he was barking his lines out, which he isn't, and if Bale could hold his rasping voice half as well. So far, Rorschach doesn't sound like he's forcing a voice, though. He sounds like that's who he is, and who he wants to be. Few complaints there. Too much emotion from Rorschach? The character IS emotion. Bottled up, repressed emotion that seeps out now and then. And...is that the "green glass bottles" sequence?

Yeah it didn't really feel like the Batman voice, sounds exactly as it was described: creepy and monotone.

And yeah, I believe the walking along the streets with the hookers was the "green glass bottles" part. I didn't think of it instantly, but when someone posted an Alan Moore video, reading that part, it seems about the same.

This complain about Rorschach voice is SO anoying... I dont see anything wrong with it. Its pretty perfect for me.

Would be funny if he had a regular voice, like one of us talking everyday. ppl would be complaining like crazy on this boards.

Ppl just like to complain, no matter what. Thats sucks.

Just got back from QoS hoping they'd show the trailer, but sadly they didn't. Also, why is everybody complaing about Rorschach's voice? It's sounding just the way it should.

I don't have a problem with batman or Rorschach's voice. But if people complained about Bale's voice, you can expect them to complain about Rorschach's voice too.

it's funny how i saw some people mentioned that Silk Spectre's acting was wooden, whereas she only had than 10 words in the entire trailer.
