XSEED localizing Nitroplus' Examu-developed fighter.

XSEED Games is bringing Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in North America this winter, the publisher anounced.
The fighting game, developed by Examu, features numerous playable heroines from Nitroplus’ collection of IP, as well as some still unannounced guest fighters “whom Western audiences are sure to find especially enticing” (the press release doesn’t mention Homura from Senran Kagura, so we take it she’s one of them).

Super Sonico will be playable for the first time in the console release. The game sees players select a main character along with two partner characters before heading into battle. It offers “fast and flashy combat,” as well as “easy-to-execute combos, cinematic cut-ins on ‘Lethal Blaze’ attacks that run the gamut from awe-inspiring to adorable, and assist mechanics that allow for up to six onscreen characters at a time.”
The game will also feature an online mode, with full cross-play between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 players.

yeah they want you to buy movies and music from the PSN store that is almost 100% why they will not let you play anything in a PS4 other than a DVD or Blu Ray. This is one of the reasons why I still use my PS3 for media sharing and media playback and use the PS4 for games and blu rays and netflix (I have each system hooked to 2 different TV sets in my house).

i feel like they're not gonna bother with it.

well then that's pretty ******* stupid.

Fortunately, I found out my Blu-Ray player can play media files, so I have less a need to do that on my PS4.

However, it still would be nice if I could use my PS4 as a media machine like I could with the PS3.

I doubt that's the reason. By and large most people view movies via discs or streaming services, which the PS4 has plenty of. Most people aren't converting or saving movie files to flash drives. If you really beleive that its 100% to drive sales of PSN movies, then they wouldnt have any of those other third party services. It's a conspiracy theory, I dont subscribe to. For music, you cant store them onto the HDD but the PS4 added USB functionality for this last year making that point moot.

It just seems ridiculous that the PS4 can't do such a basic function.

It is ridiculous.

But the PS4 delivers on being the more "powerful" and efficient console - it handles multiplat titles better than the X1, and it install games from disc super fast ( or at least lets you start playing super fast ).

also, with the JRPGS that will never come to the X1 and games like SFV being console exclusive to the PS4, those are the reasons why I'm sticking with the PS4 and not jumping ship to the X1, even though the X1 has more media features.

One doesn't need to forget something to not bring it up all the time

well, I know that I can't be accused anymore of bringing this subject up every other day, because I've largely been absent from this thread. :o :oldrazz:

what harm is there in it being brought up all the time?

Because everything that needs to be said about it has been said, and it's just a repetitive thing now. There's nothing wrong with it being brought every once and awhile, in correspondence with an event, but it is what it is. It's like if someone went into a thread about Halo and just posted nothing but how much they hated the changes in Halo and nothing else.

I was just poking fun at X Knight this time, anyway. I know he's not talked about it all that much recently or anything, but it has become a subject that's become infamous with sighing whenever it's brought up. At least for me, anyway.

I haven't been around as often as I used to, but I just came to thread & saw that the topic was being tossed around. Dunno how it came up again but since it was up I just gave my 2 cents.

do you think there's a chance Sony will announce/preview their next major firmware update at their E3 conference?
