anyone here have the PS TV?

is it worth it?

can you play most PSP and PS Vita games?

for Vita games, do you have to download them or can you play them off of the Vita disc/card?
 
It's worth it. You can both download them and play them off cards. Make sure you get at LEAST a 16gb card if you plan to go digital.

The Taiwanese Game Software Rating Regulations board has rated a number of unannounced titles, including BlazBlue: Central Fiction for consoles and the Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing trilogy for PS4.

at this point I think I'd only get it for remote play.

One thing to keep in mind that the PS TV does not play all Vita, PSP and PS1 titles.

from the list of games I read, there are enough titles that I'm interested in that would warrant getting a PS TV. I still need to check the official PS Store list to make sure, though.

it won't be a priority purchase, but I'll start keeping my eye on it.

I never owned a PSP or Vita, so there are some games there that I missed out on. and there are some classic PS1 games that I'd like to play again.
 
I briefly considered getting one, but I decided it wasn't really worth it.

I think there was supposed to be a Legacy of Kain MMO or something, but that got scrapped.

oh, and speaking of Parasite Eve, I heard some say in the initial trailer for the FF VII Remake, you can spot a billboard with Aya Brea on it. so I guess she lives on in that form.

Yeah that is definitely concerning about FF7, but it probably won't stop me getting it. Is there only one FF game in the PS4 at the moment?

well, there's 2 FF games out on PS4. the X/X-2 Remaster and the MMO FF XIV which requires its own subscription fee.

and yeah, it's a shame about XIV. I like the idea of being able to create your own character and choose your own class in a FF game. But I'm not a fan of MMOs or games that require sub fees.

I do hope FF XII gets the remastered treatment, and I wouldn't mind if they remastered the XIII trilogy for the PS4 as well, even though Lightning gets a lot of hate.......lol.

lol...thats actually 3. The total is 5 after FF7's release last month and Type-0
 
Set up my PS4 last night as well as my network account. So tried to play battle front on line and it said I had to set up a SEN account and pay monthly for it, is this the case?
 
If you are talking about the PS+ subscription, you can also pay yearly (12 months membership is around 50 pounds in the UK).

unfortunately, for games that have online multiplayer, like Battlefront, you need to sub to PS+ to play the online portion.

online multiplayer was free on the PS3, but not on the PS4.

If you don't want to use your credit card and subscribe monthly, you can buy prepaid PS+ sub cards at your local game stores, grocery stores, etc.

In the US, I think it's $18 for 3 months and $50 for 12 months.
