Marvelous has released a new pair of introduction videos for Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel, where Super Sonico, one of the crossover fighting game’s playable characters and the face of Nitroplus, teaches viewers how to play.

The first video teaches viewers basic actions—character and partner selection, movement, standard attacks, combos, and such—while the second video introduces more practical actions—dashing, guarding, countering, and furthering your combos.

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on December 10 in Japan and this winter in North America.

Question for PS4 owners: What are your "Best Of" picks for the RPG, Platforming, Adventure, Action, and 3rd-person shooter genres?

Way to go Spidey

I'd recommend the Gold Wireless Headset as well, affordable and pretty good quality  That headset has a companion app in the PSN store as well that lets you download different sound profiles created from the game developers themselves for the optimal sound to that game or similar ones.
I'm quoting this again because when I saw the $100 price tag, I had no intentions on getting this. But I just saw Best Buy is going to have it on sale for $60 next week, so I just had to share that here.

I've been playing PS2 version of Bounty Hunter for a couple days.. even if it's not BC per say it's still awesome to play. Plus it, along with Jedi Starfighter have trophy support.

hopefully PS2 emulation will lead to PS1 and PS3 emulation.

and hopefully, this will be full emulation that will let you play from your discs. instead of selective emulation for certain games released digitally.

Yeah, I'm wondering if this will be with discs because I still have a bunch of my PS2 games and would love to play them again.

if they can do PS2 emulation, does that mean PS1 and PS3 emulation is possible?

I just think that PS2 emulation alone wouldn't be that big a deal.

it would have been more important last gen with the PS3.

so, with the PS4, PS3 emulation would matter more.

No. PS1 is a given but there's technical limitations with the PS3, primarily its Cell processor. PS3 BC may eventually come but this recent news is by no means an indication that it might

ah, I see. thanks. :(

well, I can't get too excited for this unless they announce PS3 emulation.

I think Sony can come up with a couple of solutions to work around it. It was difficult for Microsoft to develop an emulator due to the switch from Power PC to x86, but they still made it work by tricking the Xbox One into thinking that it's an Xbox 360. Sony can probably do the same thing, even without the Cell processor. Or they can use PlayStation Now, gamer pops in a disc and then have it sync with the cloud.

Koei Tecmo has updated the official website for its upcoming Attack on Titan game with several short gameplay videos highlighting the game’s action and camp elements.

A total of ten clips were uploaded—six for action and four for camp—which we’ve downloaded and combined for easier viewing.

Attack on Titan is due out for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita this winter in Japan (Treasure Box edition included) and next year in North America and Europe.

Is anybody going to bother answering my earlier question about "Best Of" game picks?

IMO, its premature to answer a question like that bc the PS4 doesnt have a large library of great original games

^ The system has been out for nearly a year, so I don't see why it would be so hard to take a look at the current library of titles and the genres I mentioned and pick one game out of said library that best represents said genres.

BTW, the reason I asked the question in the first place is because I'm getting a PS4 for Christmas and want to pick up at least one or two games for it beyond the digital copy of "Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection" that it came bundled with.

bc the system is lacking and yes even after 2 years on the market. Its been an issue for it and I barely used it until this year with MKX's release, despite owning one at launch. The best games on the system are either remasters or crossplatform titles. If you want me to answer the question then fine

Action: MGS V
Adventure: Until Dawn
Platform: LBP3
TPS: Watch_Dogs
RPG: I havent played enough RPGs to answer.

The first two are the only ones I feel comfortable saying; the rest are merely mentioned by default, not that they are particularly great games at all. The Rayman series gets good buzz as do Witcher 3, Fallout 4, but I havent played them on the PS4 so I cant attest to that

If you like RPGs, then I recommend Diablo 3, Dragon Age Inquisition, Witcher 3, Fallout 4, and Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster.

of course, it depends on what type of RPG you like, same with the other genres.

what kind of games do you like, Digific?

then it might be easier to recommend games for you.

RPG - I don't play enough RPG's either to know but I do own Dragon Age Inquisition (haven't played it yet) but I've heard it's great. Witcher 3 is supposedly very good as well which I'll get one of these days.
Platforming - Like Havok said, platforming specific I think LBP3 is probably up there and is only like $20 right now. Rogue Legacy is pretty fun and silly too.
Action / Adventure - Far Cry 4, Shadow Of Mordor, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, inFamous Second Son, Batman Arkham Knight
3rd Person Shooter - GTA 5, The Order, Sniper Elite 3

I like games like Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted, most anything that is rooted in the classic JRPG style, Sonic/Mario/Zelda/Castlevania-style platforming, the occasional Western-style RPG (Mass Effect, Kingdoms of Amalur, Fallout 3), Jax and Daxter/Ratchet and Clank-style platforming, stuff like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and Heavy Rain, stuff like Valkyria Chronicles and Final Fantasy Tactics, and occasionally stuff like Halo, just to give a few examples.

Bloodborne will be 19.99 at GameStop Wenesday with Transformers Devastation being on sale for 29.

Been wanting to pick them up. I'll take this bait. I'm basically all digital but this sale is too good.

I didn't answer your question because I don't know enough about those genres to really classify the games I like. For example, my favorite games have been Uncharted 2 and Tomb Raider, and I'd classify them as "Action," "Adventure" AND "3rd-person shooter," since there's a lot of shooting done in them. Infamous: Second Son is a fun-but-short action/adventure game too. And I don't even know what The Last of Us would be classified as, but it's fantastic. And I'm clueless about Platforming and RPG's.

ah, ok then. I'll try to go in that order.

1. Metal Gear Solid V and Uncharted Collection have been released. Uncharted 4 is coming next year. I'd also throw in Shadow of Mordor and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition in this category, I guess, as well as Infamous Second Son. Maybe Last of Us, too.

2. For JRPGs, there's Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster, Tales of Zestiria, Disgaea 5, and Persona 5 next year. Japan will also be getting a Valkyria Chronicles Remaster as well as a new Valkyria Chronicles game, so chances are those will head West, too.

3. Platforming style games would include Rayman Legends, Little Big Planet 3, and Tearaway Unfolded ( a remaster of the Vita game ). Next year, we're also getting a remaster of the Vita game Gravity Rush as well as a PS4 sequel.

4. For Western RPGs, there's Diablo III, Dragon Age Inquisition, Witcher 3, and Fallout 4. I've also hear good things about Divinity Original Sin. And the new Mass Effect game out next year ( hopefully ).

5. The closest thing to Halo on the PS4 would be.......Destiny, I guess?

6. Also, if you like the Dark Souls type games, then there's Bloodborne and a remaster of Dark Souls 2. With Dark Souls 3 coming next year.
