I plugged my DS4 into my PC and played Witcher 3 and it recognized and correctly mapped the controller. Surprised bc I wasnt using a third party software to do that for me. Usually games will be wonky with the controller, incorrectly mapping the buttons unless you use a program to emulate it like a 360 gamepad

Really? That's cool. Do you think it's working due to how the Witcher recognizes the controller, or is it the controller itself?

Not sure. The button prompts were still 360 icons, but the mapping was perfect to where those would be on the DS4. Id have to imagine its the game bc in others, it doesnt quite work out that easy

Ended up buying a PS4 today, got the Battlefront bundle. In the process now of selling off the codes for all the Star Wars games, think I can get at least $70 out of it.

I think someone posted not too long ago about issues charging their PS4 controller. I think I'm seeing some of that now with my first PS4 controller. Sometimes when I plug it in overnight into my pc and I wake up and it's still flashing yellow and I turn it on and it's still at just 1 bar. Seems like the USB port is definitely in a weird place and setting the controller down on a surface sometimes interferes with the charging process or something.

I have a problem where the headphone jack on both of my PS4 controllers have some kinda short in them. Thought it might be the headphones, but I've tried the headphones on other stuff and they work fine, and I tried other headphones on the PS4 controller and the short still exists. It's extremely frustrating.

congrats! What are/will be your first gaming purchases?

I'm not sure yet. Bastion is only $2.85 on PSN, and I never did get around to playing it on the 360. As far as retail purchases, I'm looking at Until Dawn and finally getting around to playing Last of Us maybe.

The UC4 beta has made me a fan of this whole online multiplayer thing. Especially now that I'm moderately decent at it, lol. Will definitely be getting Battlefront soon.

Here’s a statement from a press release:

Sony Computer Entertainment Inc.
