Another useless UK update... when will we ever get anything decent

I know. At least you have the other stores to go to.

So far for US 11/29
For Havok:
Map pack two, which contains Axebridge and Bracknell, will cost $4.99. For time being, the maps will be available via the standard PLAYSTATION Store and not the in-game ‘Purchase’ option. We are also releasing a bundle of both this and the first map pack together, which will run $7.99.

Also:
PAIN captures the irreverent style of humor found in slapstick movies and online video clips and puts control of the chaos in the players’ hands. PAIN boldly tackles a rarely explored area of video gaming: comedy. The core, unique mechanic of the game allows the player to load a character into an extreme launching device, a human-sized, ultra-powerful slingshot, and fire the character into an active, physics-controlled downtown environment riddled with precarious, humorous and sometimes suggestive situations. Available for $9.99, you have never seen anything like it PAIN.

That's a little too expensive for me right now with the holiday spending I have already done.

Bee Movie SD Trailer

Oh good! A demo that I downloaded weeks ago on the U.S. store! Sucktacular!

The adverts are so out there that it would scare you away from buying a PS3 but that's if you knew what they were for until the end

Downloadable Games

Pain ($9.99)
It’s the funniest game in town! Load characters into a super-sized, ultra-powerful slingshot and launch them into an active, physics-controlled environment filled with precarious and humorous situations. Score points by stringing together PAINful collisions and unleashing chaos on the downtown environment. Enjoy single player challenges like Spank the Monkey or head-to-head modes like Fun With Explosives.

You forgot to mention what's quite possibly this month's most significant download...

OBLIVION SHIVERING ISLES! :cmad:

I don't have the cash to d/l it just yet, so I bought the Resistance Map Pack. But I'm really looking forward to the teeth-chattering fun that Oblivion's new islands surely offer once I have the money!

I know this is the PSN thread but with all this Oblivion talk I must ask is Oblivion a good game?

i clocked in 125 hours before finishing the story...

it doesn't take 125 hours to finish the main plot of the game, but there is just so much you can do...and i haven't even finished everything there is to do yet.

so, no...it isn't a "good" game, it is a AMAZING game.

Dang, if it's that long it will take me years to finish. lol. I'll have to check into it.

Ive been playing it since around April/May. Its the type of game that you can pick up and drop and not feel lost. There is ALOT to do and the possibilities are endless. I was playing it heavily last month until the big PS3 titles came out, but I stopped bc of that. I'll get back to it eventually and when I do, I know it will occupy most of my time again

Is Oblivion as good as "Daggerfall" was?

This is for you guys who actually played Daggerfall on the PC.

For those of you who haven't, Daggerfall was the second game in the Elder Scroll series.

I'm mixed about Oblivion. I just started playing again cause I don't feel I got the most out of it last time I played it. Sure it's massive, but when the enemies level up in accordance to you, it takes the micky that you're struggeling with skeletons at level 30 or whatever.

but you can adjust teh difficulty at any time, so the levels of the enemies doesnt matter at all

How long does it take for a trailer that is just released to be put up on the PSN store?
