Dude we all need to get on sometime and all play a huge superherohype game of Resistance: Fall of Man. :D

Whose with me?

I am! But, I'm addicted to the crack that is Warhawk right now.

EA has confirmed that the demo for FIFA 08 will go live on 360 and PS3 tomorrow.

It'll give you a chance to try out what the publisher is calling its most coherent football game to date. There's the new skill system to try out, the opportunity to play as just one member of the team and not mess it up, plus the usual better graphics, physics, and all that malarkey.

EA is also offering much more in the way of online support this time around. Following a post-release update you'll be able to play five against five, for instance, where you each control your player of choice on either side. The ultimate goal is to have 11 versus 11, although we're not sure who would really want to be centre-back or the goalie.

Interactive Leagues are back, too, so you and your chums can help your favourite team to victory, plus lots of other knick knacks. Sprint your way over to our first impressions of FIFA 08 for a closer look.

FIFA 08 is coming out on PC, PS3, 360, PS2, PSP, Wii and DS on 28th September. Look out for our thoughts soon.

Sweet can't wait to play...

According to the official EA Sports FIFA 08 forum the release of the FIFA 08 Xbox360 and Playstation 3 is delayed in Europe.

EA Announcement:
"We’re sorry to have to tell everyone that the FIFA 08 NG demo won’t be launching in Europe today as was expected. Although the demo is being released in North America there were a couple of issues which we couldn’t get ironed out in time to release today despite working through out the night to get these sorted."

We confirmed yesterday that you were able to download a demo of Tony Hawks Proving ground on Xbox Live, but PS3 fans need not feel left out as a demo for the PS3 will be available on the Playstation Store later today.

The demo takes skaters to Philadelphia (one of three cities in Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground) to begin shredding the pavement as contest-winning Career Athletes, fast and furious Hardcore Skaters and creative maverick Riggers, who alter and modify the world into their own skate park. As players progress they will experience the latest advancements in the world-renowned franchise, including Nail the Grab, for the ultimate control of grab tricks and tweaks; the Aggro Kick for clearing huge gaps; Rigging goals, enabling players to tweak the environment however they want to create unique skate lines; and video creation with the full-featured video editor for epic skate videos.

Playstation 3 firmware version 1.93 is now available for download. However, it seems that people are having connectivity issues in an attempt to download the newest firmware. The alternative source takes you to the official Playstation forums were you can read accounts of download issues.

Also, here is the following error statement I received while downloading:

An error occurred during the download operation. A connection to the server cannot be established.(80028E07)

Updates:
It seems traffic on Sony's servers have eased up a bit and I have just finished downloading the firmware. As previously expected, the update does nothing more but fix the networking issues seen with FW version 1.92.

Why couldn't we have that in the UK too?

FIFA '08 demo lasts for 4 mins
NBA '08 - 4 Mins
Harry Potter - Around 5-10 mins and boring

Why can't we just have something decent for once :(

Make another profile and register it as an american or Canadian account complete with made up address, and you can ccess those stores (works for any version of the PSN store).

For Asia, do a Hong Kong account, because it is in English.
