Currently don't want to mess with setting up a Japanese account unless something comes out I feel I must DL. I went ahead and waited for the DMC demo to come out in the US store and it finally is up :). Currently downloading the demo now, so if anyones like me and didn't set up a Japanese account and wants to play the demo go ahead and check the US store as it's up.

Dude. It only takes a few minutes. I have an UK, US, Hong Kong, and Japan account. The only one that was a pain was the Japan account, because it was, well, in Japanese. If you don't want to go to trouble in getting the Japan account, at least do the Hong Kong one which usually gets the exact same content, but in English. The only thing that is really cool on the Japan store right now is the demo to GT5: prologue.

Anyways. What did you think of the Demo? I thought it was awesome.

I loved it, just finished it right now, had some stuff to do before I could play it. The graphics are nice, the gameplay fun and fast paced, and love those combos "Atomic".

I played through both modes of the demo. On the 10 minute time limit one I got past the snow and cut scene to the Ice guys, but mid fight time ran out. So then I tried the other mode and surprisingly it took me right to the Iceguy fight with no time limit. I beat them, and then the LoTR balrog looking dude Beril fight started. The cut scene for him was pretty cool, and the way he was lumbering towards me had me worried at first, but guy was cake until I took down half his health. Barely beat him. Overall I liked the demo, was worth the wait.

BTW I've only played DMC on a demo that came with a PS1 mag, and then went on to play the first. I haven't played 2 or 3 which is why I haven't been as hyped for this title. However after this demo, think I might go ahead and get it as it seems fun, but I might need to search some bargain bins for 2 and 3 to catch up on the story, or just wiki it.

forget 2 is you want the story, cos its set waaaaaaaaaaaay after 4. or its been removed from continiuity lol

3 should be easy to find:D

I downloaded PixlJunk monsters last night....which is very addicting.

I hope they bring out downloadable stuff later for it.

BTW you were right, took your advice, and wow are there a lot of demos lol. Haven't done a Hong Kong one yet, but did a Japan and UK one. Dl'ing a Conan, Ninja Gaiden: Sigma, Ridge Racer, Gundam (just for kicks), Lemings starter pack, Graw 2, Darkness, and Blazing Angels 2 demos. Alot I know heh, they also have a Resistance demo. I was surprised the UK selection had so many demos, I expected the Japan store to have a lot more. They also had a few PSP demos, but didn't feel like messing with it, plus I need to charge my PSP up. Anyway thanks for the heads up.

Isnt the Hong Kong store the same as the Japanese one just except in English?

Hmm...the Gundam demo was from a different game than the one that got horrible reviews for it's clunky controls. I actually enjoyed this game. Been a long time Gundam fan and it was cool seeing characters from different Gundam generations interacting. Plus the controls were spot on and not slow in the least, tho I could see fighting getting a little repetative overtime.

More or less you played Heero from Gundam Wing in all his emo ness, and have the guy from G Gundam I think it was, the Master Gundam talking down to ya, then you plowing thru the enemies. The enitre thing has several zones and you have to clear wave after wave of enemies, and fight Gundam bosses like Zex. Overall I was plesantly surprised it wasn't the clunky Gundams take 5 mins to turn around and move 1 mph game.

Actually, they differ a little bit, like when GT Prologue Demo came out. Hong Kong didn't get, so I had to get a Japan account. If you don't have one you should. It's kind of cool, but a little upsetting to see all the extra stuff they get that we don't though.

For my PAL friends.

Solution to PAL PSN delays coming 'in the next six months'

In an interview with Screen Play the Managing Director of Sony Electronic Entertainment Australia, Michael Ephraim, was asked to comment on the ridiculous delays between releases on the PAL/Australian PSN versus the US/Japanese PSN. Ephraim confirmed that the issue was the fact that all content needs to be localized for all the European languages (no change there, we've known that for months). "We're in an online space, it's a global community," he says.

When pressed that "digital distribution is supposed to break down geographic barriers," Ephraim responds that "there are discussions and we have identified that. We have been very vocal about it and I think you will see an improvement over the next six months on this issue." Should we take this to mean that a global online store is coming within the next half a year? Not impossible, but let's be realistic - we'll probably see European content lag become much shorter within that time frame (or, hopefully, nonexistent) rather than an entire global PSN Store.

Doesn't mean we can't cross our fingers for one, right?
