Capcom is going to make its PlayStation Network presence a lot more robust as it begins releasing ports of PS1 titles and providing downloadable versions of previous PSP titles throughout the year. We spoke with Capcom's Chris Kramer, who let us know that the company would be listening to what the community wants and figuring out internally what titles to release -- but don't expect any of them to involve licensing shenanigans along the lines of Marvel vs. Capcom.

"We'll definitely be looking at a lot of titles that have things like Street Fighter and Resident Evil in the title," Kramer said. "We're thinking about putting together a long list of the titles we're looking at, and then releasing it on Capcom Unity and having people vote on them. Ultimately we're looking at bringing between 20 and 40 titles to the PSN over the next several months."

Woah, that's a lot of titles.

Yeah, I'd love 3 or 4. I've played 3 plenty of times, but wouldn't mind giving it another go. 4 is just out of regret lol. I owned a copy and only played it thru once, then I got introduced to (wanna think it was EB) and sold it in a moment of sheer stupidity to get some crap game. Tho putting that crap that was the 5th game from the PS2 up on the store would be an utter waste lol (not that I think they would).

I'd like to see Brave Fencer Musashi, and both Lunar's get put on there as well. Hell, any of the great PS1 classics or RPG's in general. The PS Store has been neglecting the PS1 games for awhile. Hopefully Capcom comes thru like said above.
