Just though I'm post this because I hadn't heard anything about it and kind of thought this was out of nowhere, especially to be coming out next week. Not sure if was announced or not earlier or not
Theres a thread for it here but it hasnt been updated in a while as there hasnt been any new news till now

here are some facts

Yup. Time for another instalment of PSN: By The Numbers, your semi-regular update of all things to do with the PlayStation Network. Time to get ready. Get ready for numbers.

1. As of this week, there are now 25 million registered users on the PlayStation Network. Now, that doesn't mean there are 25 million individual users - I've got three accounts, for example - so if you trim that number down to around 12-15 million, you're probably getting closer to a more useful number.

2. Over 500 million things have been downloaded since the PSN launched. That includes everything, from games to add-ons to wallpaper.

3. The PlayStation Store currently has 200 games, 1,900 movies and 9,000 TV episodes (and other forms of "original programming). 9,000? That number got real high, real quick.

And there you have it! Hopefully enjoyed reading numbers as much as we enjoyed writing about them.

PlayStation Store Update – 25 June 2009

Hey all, and welcome to this week’s store update. I just wanted to firstly acknowledge that there was quite a bit of disappointment with last week’s update; whilst we do try and ensure we have great content every week sometimes there will be a lull in the release schedule, so all I ask is that you please be patient with us when we do have quieter weeks.

Onto this week and a mix of content that should feature something for everyone. There’s reason to celebrate Super Stardust’s 2nd year anniversary for those of you who have yet to download the game, for one week only you can download the game for a really low price! Puzzle game Zuma is now available, and for those of you with an addictive personality this one will keep you coming back again and again. There’s also something ‘beardy’ for LBP users too, amongst other things

Mobile Light Force? Wow, what a random pick for a PSone Classic release.

I wish they would Put Crash CTR for Playstation Classics i really have good memories with that game.

Another PS1 game! Dont know what Mobile Light Force is but it seems as if Sony is trying to release a steady stream of classic games. Thats refreshing to see

It's an old side scrolling title. It was ok and all, but it was nothing special by any means.

when I go onto the PSN store from my PSP it doesn't show that TMNT game

I finally made a US PSN acount, I never knew you could make multiple ones. And man... does the US PSN kick the EU's PSN in the ass.

First, an introduction: I’m Ryan, and I’ll be introducing you to classic Capcom games from the PS1 and PSP that will be available on the PlayStation Network in the next few months. The first of which is the Capcom Classics Collection Remixed, downloadable for the PSP.

Remember back when you used to rule the arcade, racking up combos and high scores on all of gaming’s original blockbusters? Want to at least be able to claim that you did? On July 2nd, CCCR gives you the tools to drop knowledge on twenty true arcade classics like Bionic Commando, Magic Sword, Strider, and 1941: Counter Attack.

Curl your mustache as you tell your friends that you see echoes of Forgotten Worlds in today’s next-gen shooters. Puff your pipe as you wax philosophical on how the innovation of Final Fight clearly influenced a whole generation of brawlers. If you want credibility as a gamer, or just to experience the classics you may have missed, that’s why we have CCCR.

This bundled collection features Street Fighter. Street Fighter, without anything after it. These games are the foundation the rest of the industry was built on, and if you have never explored them, you need to.

They don’t make them like they used to, so look for Capcom Classics Collection Remixed on PSN next week. Check out the list below for the full collection of retro gems included in the game.

• 1941: Counter Attack
• Avengers
• Bionic Commando
• Black Tiger
• Block Block
• Captain Commando
• Final Fight
• Forgotten Worlds
• Last Duel
• Legendary Wings
• Magic Sword
• Mega Twins
• Quiz and Dragons
• Section Z
• Side Arms: Hyper Dyne
• The Speed Rumbler
• Street Fighter
• Strider
• Three Wonders
• Varth

Update: This release of CCCR is downloadable for the PSP only, which equates to having an entire arcade in your pocket. (Thanks for asking)

http://www.capcom-unity.com/official_capcom_blog/blog/2009/06/25/get_cultured_with_cccr_next_week

Strider and Final Fight!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would they make this PSP only? I don't get that at all.
Bc its an old PSP title (which is actually a port of 2 PS2 compilations) that was released in 2006. Capcom, like many other publishers will in the upcoming months, will be updating their library by putting those titles in downloadable form as the launch of the GO arrives
