BILL WILLINGHAM TO ANSWER READERS' "BURNING QUESTIONS" IN FABLES #59

This March, writer Bill Willingham will answer readers' "Burning Questions" about FABLES in issue #59 of the hit Vertigo series. Readers can submit their questions about the series at dccomics.com/sites/fables.

"It's rare that any magazine would ever let the readers call the shots for an issue," says Willingham. "Some have advised us that we're insane for trying this, but they don't know what we know: FABLES readers are the creme de la creme, the elite of all funnybook fans. In short, you're smarter than the average bear. More to the point, you have questions that demand answers, and none of us here in Fabletown are foolhardy enough to risk ignoring your needs."
The issue will feature a series of short stories answering a selection of the questions, illustrated by several artists. FABLES #59 will be solicited in the January Previews (Volume XVII #1) to arrive in stores in March.

And don't forget, the original hardcover graphic novel FABLES: 1001 NIGHTS OF SNOWFALL (JUL060245) is available for advance reorder and is scheduled to arrive in stores on October 18.

Captain America
Young Avengers

Batman
Superman
Action Comics
The Flash
Green Lantern
Ion
Teen Titans

Invincible

Is there ever a actual reason given for why books are cancelled and rescheduled for a later date?

Personally I'd cut most DC stuff before I'd cut anything Marvel. Still, the weakest titles on the original list here are the following...

Marvel Comics

Civil War: Young Avengers/Runaways
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
Dr. Strange: The Oath
1602: Fantastick Four

Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man has been awful and I've never been a big Dr. Strange fan.

I skipped all the Civil War tie-in's that are miniseries.

I think I will drop FNS from my pull list after the tie-in to Spider-Man unmasking story.

I added Green Lantern and bought every issue from 7 up.

I'm dropping Cap for the duration of the CW tie-ins.I'm back onboard when the tie-ins are done and Bru gets on with HIS show.

Bored has meant for some time to start a pull list. If he would finally do it, the following would be there:

Astonishing X-Men
The Incredible Hulk
Cable and Deadpool
The Ultimates (even if it only comes out once every few millenia anyway)
X-Factor

Hmm... what else should bored read regularly?

Daredevil has been great as of late, so I've heard. I'm still waiting on my issue to #89. (DAMN YOU MARVEL SUBSCRIPTIONS!!!!!!!):cmad: :cmad: Good news though, I might actually get #88 soon.

How can Dr. Strange: The Oath be considered weak if it hasn't even come out. I see you said you weren't a big Dr. Strange fan but that doesn't mean it doesn't have a chance to MAKE you a Dr. Strange fan. :o

And he must be on crack if he considers that weak.

My list has expanded a bit:

Astonishing X-Men
Captain America
Daredevil
Ms. Marvel
New X-Men
Uncanny X-Men

Civil War
Civil War: Front Line
Iron Man

Add Young Avengers, whenever that comes back.

I've dropped Iron Man. I read Iron Man #12 the other day. As soon as I heard "registration" on the last page, I knew it was gone. :o
