my review will be on youtube in.......... 48 hours :o

and I will start off the review by playing the DB:E theme song on my keyboard

I saw it just for the lulz, it was really bad and totally ridiculous, but it gave me a good laugh.

Haha. I didn't even know this movie was out already either. Exactly when did it come out? I saw it playing when I went to go see cranked 2 last Friday and was like whaaaaaat.

I really enjoyed this. I wasn't expecting anything deep so sitting back and having fun while watching a movie was something I haven't done since the first Mortal Kombat film. Seriously, it had an interesting plot that I didn't need to think hard about and there was no blatent theme, just a cheesy moral that I was completely fine with. I really hope they adapt the rest of the stories (yes all of them) and I'll buy them all on Blu-Ray. I enjoyed this film far more then I thought I would and the fight scenes were just awesome. Fun and enjoyable film all around.

Take Note: I haven't seen the Original Dragonball in over a decade so I barely remembered what happened in the original plots so I'm not one to nitpick about 100% accuracy. I don't even remember enough to know if it was really accurate enough.

I didn't care about the CGI or the wirework. It was an anime film, I just wanted to enjoy it. The acting was a direct translation of the show which made it fun.

And to those complaining about a 25 second Kamehameha, go re-watch Goku's very first Kamehameha from the Original Dragonball cartoon and you'll see how it's even shorter.

It didnt dawn on me until i was at walmart and saw a small section of figures at the very end of the toy isle. 8 figures total i think. 5 of them were goku

i think i counted 1 punch from goku and 3 punches from piccolo. no fighting with their legs.

saying that the fighting was awesome is an insult

Finally got around to seeing this. It was garbage like I knew it would be. I would give it a negative 1 but the lowest is just 1 so that's what I gave it.

Finally had the pleasure (or lack thereof) to watch this . . .

So much could've been done with a Dragonball movie, but instead, the filmmakers insisted with giving as little effort as possible, and it shows.

DBE.

Saw it with family at the 2 dollar base theater. Where do I start? It's not a bad movie. It's rushed and choppy and a kids movie. That being said, it's a so-so kids movie. Fight scenes were too short and a short movie. Scenes felt rushed. A extra 15-20 minutes would have made it better. Esp the rushed Piccolo/Goku fight. That was awesome in what went down. The very very short Ki blast fight they had was a blast, now if it was 1-2 minutes longer...wow, it be very better. The overall fight was short, but just seeing them two fight on the big screen live action...:wow::yay:. The scene felt like a tease and I wish there was more to it. And looking at pictures and video, some stuff was cut out.

Chow Yu Fat was okay as Roshi. Emmy was hot as Bulma. But didn't really lke her acting. Mai was hot (didn't know the same actress played on reaper this season). CGI was not that...the lava pit wasn't great. Ki blasts and energy blasts were nice. Slow motion in some of the fights were okay. Directing could have been better, but action wise it was okay. From what I remember of the music I liked.

I be buying the movie on dvd or blu-ray...and hope a better more thought out movie comes out one day.

6/10.

I liked the music as well. Brian Tyler's score was definitely the highlight of the movie for me, although "Rule" by that Ayumi chick was pretty good too (you only hear a 10-second snippet of it when Goku is riding "Nimbus"* to school, but you can find the whole song online).

*:whatever:

I can live with Goku riding a scooter or moped or tiny motorbike to school. Just glad he didn't drive a car or a fancy car to school.

And that song was good.
