^Possibly, but if there was any justice in the world, Fillion and the rest of the crew would make it big, as all are great actors.
So I've been hearing alot about this film and how good it is. Though it didn't appeal to me when I saw the previews. How good is it? Because I might just check it out.
I agree. I think honesly Summer Glau has the best shot of them all, as she is younger and has the whole package for acting (looks, physicality, acting chops, etc). I think we'll continue to see Adam Baldwin and Alan Tudyk around too since they are both great character actors (I loved Alan in 3:10 to Yuma and in Arrested Development-I could go for more Pastor Veal).
And for you Serenity fans, I had to find what my fav web comic had to say on the subject. Enjoy

If they did decide to make a sequel, would anyone really be excepting of new members joining the crew? Being that everyone loves the original nine.
They are on Blu-ray.Wish they'd release this and the Firefly series in Blu Ray with more special features and behind the scenes. More actor/actresses commentaries also.
This was aired in the UK again on ITV4 two nights in a row.
Such a great film.

Indeed it never gets bad, have you read the comic that ties in the original TV series FireFly with the movie Serenity?
Very nice - it basically rounds up the blue hand agents that were hunting River and sets up how the characters are where they are for the movie.
hell yeah, bought them a while back, currently got the latest comics from last year too in my room but haven't read'em yet.
Did you ever read the short Serenity comic on Dark Horse's online myspace page, it was written by Joss Whedon still & there was also a Dr.Horrible one.
EDIT: it was written by Joss Whedon but still very Serenity/Firefly
I have never heard of that one - what was it about?
Its just a heist set some time before Serenity involving Reavers, pretty good.

I don't care about Book's past, we all know he was an operative, and in the movie we saw exactly what and operative is. Move forward, not back!
[Operative]But I do...[/operative]
And how do we know he was an Operative exactly?
And how did he get out of that exactly?
And why was he on Firefly?
Why pose as a Shephard? Was he even posing?
I want to know darnit. We can move forward all we want, but that has got to get touched on. Fortunately there'll be a comic for that soon enough.
Exactly we got a nice chunk of answers via the movie and comics etc. But Shepards story deserves some greater attention.
It depends DJ, if you love Sci-fi, you should love it.
Glau isnt the youngest actually, Jewell Staite who plays Kaylee is younger, though Glau seems to be having the better career at the moment. But honestly, all of them deserve to be successful. The women are gorgeous and talented, and the men are talented. I wish them all the luck in the world in their career's.
I wouldnt see a problem with, no one seemed to have a problem with The Operative being introduced in the movie. If the character was interesting, I dont think people would have a problem at all.
They are on Blu-ray.
I would love to get his back story! For one we need to know why exactly he became a good guy.
What he said, comics all about Sheperd (Sheperd with an E) Book, supposedly this year but with Dollshouse & stuff it could be next year by the time the comics come out.Supposedly we'll be getting some answers in regards to his past in the comics at some point.
Thanks! I just looked it up and it looks like it has picture in picture commentary. Has anyone seen this?
I am curious because if it's Joss Whedon then I'm not interested. The guy can be a little full of himself but if it's the cast I am SO on it. This might be the reason I'd buy a Blu-Ray
