Yes. She was very good.

She was never in Angel at all.

The name escapes me, but the actress who played Zoe, and Adam Baldwin (Jayne) were both in Angel.

The former was Jasmine, who appeared towards the end of Season 4 as the 'Big Bad' who brainwashed people for the purposes of world peace! The latter was in the last five of Season 5 as well, as - well, Adam, a conduit to the Senior Partners and a substitute for Eve, who was 'fired' from the job.

Nathan Filion's Caleb by the way, was a masochist who villified women and what they represented, and was an agent of First Evil, not the devil lol. Beezlebub made but a peep in the Buffyverse! :p

Morena Baccarin was going to play Eve however, but scheduual conflicts prevented that.

So there you go.

Oh, and Summer Glau auditioned for the role of Shadowcat in X3 - and didn't get it, obviously.

Summer Glau played a ballerina in Angel, i'm 99% certain of it.

And shes a great actress, wonder why X3 turned her down?

Yes, now comes the waiting game.

Yes. You know, I don't see why they call it the waiting "game". It's not very fun.

Yes, she was. She played the ghost of a balarina from the early 1900s who was traped, forever haunting the theater she worked at by the man who owned the theater, who happened to be a sorcerer.

Gina Torres.

The character's name was Marcus Hamilton.

First Evil. Devil. Same thing.

Didn't know that. Interesting.

Tell me about, especially were our favourite movies' sequels are concerned.

I knew Summer was in Angel.

Well, Serenity and Firefly aren't my favorites. But they're one of my favorites.

You know, I recall that Joss or one of his fellow producers said something to this effect in an interveiw. Wouldn't it be funny if some network exec met with Joss and said "you know, Serenity didn't do that well at the box office. But the critics loved it. I see TV series potential here."

Question he said I hope after the movie comes out someone who saw it comes up and says you should make this a show.

Yeah. That's why I said "something to this effect". As in, not exactly the same, but the same idea.

Three bits of news:

1. After the most recent cound of the Box Office and DVD sails, Serenity has officially made Universal Studios a profit. Meaning, it can now be considered for a sequel, or possibly a new TV series on one of Universal's stations, NBC or USA.

2. Joss has confirmed that there will be an as of yet unknown number of new Firefly/Serenity comics published by Darkhorse.

3) CW (the UPN/WB merger) has joined Sci-Fi channel and On Deman on the list of networks showing interest in continuing Firefly. While there's nothing official about the CW rumor, Joss had this to say about it on another site:

Abusing links is the only way I know how to live. But I am here with a purpose, my friends. Call me joss Whedon: Rumor Crusher! (Or "Mister Fendendo", if we're being intimate.)

Since everyone's all abuzz with the CW rumor, I have to get all official and say: WE'VE STARTED FILMING NEW EPISODES! Of Dateline. I'm such a troll.

No, there haven't been any overtures from the CW as regards a SereniFly spin-off. I haven't even heard the orchestra tuning up. But if they happen to come calling, I do know what I would do:

1) In order to keep the show cost efficient, we would get rid of a few things we don't need, like spaceships, floors, and Jewel. (You thought I was gonna say 'costumes', didn't you? Porn guy.)

2) Nathan is busy making movies, but since I don't want new cast members, everybody in the cast would just move over one. Jewel (she's back!) would play Mal, Ron would play Kaylee, Morena would play Book, and so on.

3) People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy.

4) The actors can make up their dialogue. I'm bushed, and they're all funny, and the hell with it. Maybe I'll give them a premise to work off of, like "You're all in trouble" or "Wash has a thing". They could maybe light it too.

5) Klingons, but not alien Klingons. But still Klingons.

So already the show is running like a well oiled companion. I'm just proud to be a part of the Country Western network, and I know this will be their biggest hit since "Have Space-Gun, Will Travel."

I hope, as always, this clears things up. And I hope the executives at the Carnie Wilson network DO give me a call. I've got a million ideas for redoing their offices.

Power to the people who are powerful enough to crush the other people! -jossy.

I have a strong feeling that he's joking.

Thanks for the update Question, its good to hear some slightly positive news and lets hope the DVD is still selling.

Why do people like this series so much,is it just because it has a space theme to it.

No, it's because it's actually good, which is a rare occurence for TV shows (seriously, actuallypay attention to the crap they put on cable now), plus, it's written by the Geek God joss Whedon

Loved Buffy, love this, and most likely gonna love wonder woman. But it's really good. It you haven't watched this nor the movie, I HIGHLY suggest you do. Great pieces of entertainment

I think its the characters that make it so good. There is not one character in the series that i dont love watching, and they are developed so well, you genuinly care about them.

Also, the movies he's written are quite good. He was one of the main writers for Toy Story, and he wrote Titan A.E., both movies that I enjoyed a great deal.
