The Official Tagline Thread

I think my latest one kind of works in line with Batman Begins tagline.

My tagline for Superman:
"
"It's not power that defines a man. It's the hero within that creates a SUPERMAN."
"

BB: "It's not what's underneath
but what you do on the outside that counts"

I'm sold on it. But I wrote it :D lol

Let's get a little MLK cheesy in that case ZS:

"Do not judge a man by the power of his blow, but rather by the content of his character"

"Have a dream"

"Truth, justice, and all new stuff..."

I'm sold on mine. Now after we decide what tag we want. How do we hand it to the WB and get it done?

I don't think it should have a 'tagline'. Just the title and powerful usage of imagery should be more than enough for people to fill in their own visceral impressions. I also don't think they should worry about separating themselves from SR, since it'll have all but faded from memory anyway.

Let me try a version of your tagline.

" "

"Man of Steel" with a picture of Metallo for a teaser would be fun.

"From the director of Sucker Punch"

"We swear to God, this person had nothing to do with Daredevil"

appropriate:

"Got Steel?"

just not right:

"it's a bird!? it's a plane!? oh bloody hell mate, it's superman!"

"From the director of Sucker Punch"

Gotta get those seats filled up :woot:

"Look up."
It's simple and straightforward. And it could be placed at the bottom of a poster, telling you to look up at the amazing visual above the tagline.

"12/??/12 - The world will never be the same..."

The Prelude to the Justice League

Remember the Batman films? With Heath Ledger? Those guys are making Superman now!

They wrote it and will chime in as 'producers', but Snyder is the primary person making it, so his creative voice will be the most prominent.

I know, but who do you think will bring in more people? The guys who made The Dark Knight, or the guy who made that owl film you never saw?
