New season starts Thursday. I can't wait to see where it goes. Especially after the cliff hanger.

Furthermore, fellow Daily Show alumni Ed Helms is slated to do at least ten episodes this season.

I'm honestly not sure how I feel about that. Sure, Helms is funny, but it could have the Reno 9-1-1 effect (You have the perfect cast, and then they added that new girl in Season 3 and she entirely dragged the show down).

The Office cast is so absolutely perfect...I'm not sure it needs the addition of Ed Helms. Furthermore, the fact that they are all no-names (hell, a lot of the regulars are people who work behind the scenes of the show and aren't actors at all) with the exception of Carrell sort of adds to the show's charm. I hope he just does his ten episode guest spot and then goes on his way.

I too am looking forward to this premiere. I am interested into what will happen between Jim and Pam

Where the hell do they take it from where they left off? I'm so glad I'm not a writer!

Office romances can be tons of fun. Especially with Michael Scott as your boss.

I've been counting down the days for this.:D I can't wait for tomorrow!

I'm planning to get Season 1 and 2 this weekend, since:

a) I've seen clips and it looks hilarious.

b) It seems to have that smart and uncomfortable humor that AD has, so yeah, I'm in.

Watch the Christmas episode first. Hilarious.

"Happy Birthday Jesus, I'm sorry your party sucked."

So what do you think of the addition of Ed Helms Gamma?

I hope you change your mind on Helms. Tim Meadows, while not a big name he's a guy most will be familiar with and it didn't ruin the episode he was in. I enjoyed it more seeing him singing the Chili's theme song with Michael.

The season two DVD has over 2.5 hours of deleted scenes! I've read two reviews, they could've used a Play All for some features but they've put in loads of extras.

.

Tim Meadowes did one episode though, not ten.

Anything to give fellow Daily Show alums a little help in thier acting careers I'm all for it. I'm kinda worried about the Jim and Pam relationship, it could ruin some of the great chemistry they had being a couple now. Plus it's in some ways the third office romance we'll have (not sure if you can count Michael and Jan).

Looking forward to it. Love this show.

Ed Helms wasn't really funny. :(

Pam and Roy broke up, but she still didn't get together with Jim?? :(

Jim probably left for Stamford before Pam broke up with Roy. Ed Helms wasn't bad, great seeing Jim using the jello prank on him. Loved the bit at the end with the gaydar, awesome.

That episode was seriously the best episode of that show I've ever seen. I literally started laughing from the begning, and only stopped at the 'conference' part (because they tried to get it all serious for few minutes). The rest was hysterical.

Seeing the part where Stamford had to have another Diversity discussion because of problems at the Scranton branch was great. Makes you wonder just how many Diversity discussion's the other branches have been through.

It took some balls but its better for the show that they don't become a couple. Ed Helms was signed for ten episodes, so Jim will atleast be away from Scranton for awhile. Maybe Jim will stop by or they'll cross paths somewhere. It kind of reminded me of The Office Xmas Special,
with Tim being miserable with a pregnant co-worker and Gareth as his boss
Also, if Roy gets his act together could he win back Pam? Is she going to break up Ryan and Kelly? The 'kiss' wasn't too bad, for a second I thought Oscar was going to leave.

Highlights:

Creed talking about having sex in the 60's and that he's okay with gay sex.

Michael telling Jan that she should know best that he's not gay.

Dwight watching gay porn with everyone watching.

Seeing Larry do another workshop on racism.

Dwight using his gaydar at the end.

Pam mentioning she was taking art classes (knod to Dawn)

Larry "Brown". LMAO! So funny that he came back.

A thought...

Ed Helms is doing at least ten episodes.

Does that mean Jim will be gone from the Scranton Branch for at least ten episodes?

If so, that sucks. Its not the same without him around, his facial expressions when Michael ****s up are always classic.

Am I the only one who felt something was seriously missing without Jim in the office...then again, I suppose the audience is supposed to feel a void just as Pam does, so mission accomplished on the writers part.

That's exactly how I feel. They want us to miss Jim the way Pam does...a tip of the hat towards the writers.

This was a fantastic episode, and possibly one of the funniest I've personally seen. True, Helms wasn't funny, but I don't think he was meant to be...almost an obnoxious straight man to Jim's subtle funny man.

You don’t call ******ed people “******s.” It’s bad taste. You call your friends “******s” when they’re acting ******ed. And I consider Oscar a friend.

:D
